Bad customer service. Bali’s hospitality i would say the best except this restaurant. Been here once and this restaurant got no practical service flow. First come here and the place is very crowded, no one say welcome greeting to customer whatsoever. I then approached person that was on the nearest entrance and he seems like someone that never been trained with customer service before. Indeed even his job desc is not clear he just stood there and nothing else to do. I asked him wether i can directly order, he said I should get the table first. I then approach the waiter between restaurants seats but the waiter seems confused then ask us wether it is okay for us to join table. I asked okay. Then, without gave us the proper table, the waiter ask us to order first. In this point, the order flow is AN ABSOLUTE ABSURD and CONFUSING and UNPROFESSIONAL whatsoever. Then as the waiter ask us to do, I approach the order stall and the guy in that stall (which the same guy that just stood and do nothing) he didn’t tell me what we need to do. I told him what I want to order and I got IGNORED. and I approach the guy on the not so called cashier station and he told us to approach the guy that previously we approached but we get ignored. And I get frustrated then the guy on the cashier station tell us that we can order there. Argh SO CONFUSING AND UN PROFESSIONAL. And on top of that, the guy that the employees called as BOSS DO THE WORST SERVICE. I ASK HIM TO MOVE THE TRASH BIN BEHIND THE SEAT THAT HE ASKED US TO FILL. AND I ASK HIM POLITELY AND WHAT HE RESPOND???????? HE SAID CAN YOU WAIT PLEASE I STILL DO THE TABLE. I am as a person that work in customer service myself would never do any sarcastic gesture or even tone. BUT HE HAD DONE THAT. Not proper at all!!!!! would never come...

Bad management. I had to wait 2 hours for nothing! I booked a table for an 8pm dinner, got there at 7:45pm and ordered straight away. They told us to be "patient" because it's a full house. Sure, we had our fair share of eating seafoods by the beach, they always took forever to arrive so we estimated 1 hour max. So we waited.. an hour. nothing. 1 hour 15 mins, nothing. 1:30 hours waiting time I had to asked. They said "on process, still 20 mins to go". So we waited some more, starving to death. When it's about 1:45 waiting time, the owner apologized and said we need to wait ANOTHER 15 MINS. WHAT??? 2 hours? I could've watch a full movie.

I'm sorry but for me, no food is worth waiting 2 hours. If they told me at the beginning I had to wait 2 hours, I would've turn back and find another restaurant. I had my wife and 3 kids with me. The 14yo probably can wait, but letting a 9yo and 8yo kid starve? Are you insane? I can't let my kids starve, so we left and find the nearest KFC. When we left, there were at least 2 tables full of grumpy faces, still starving and waiting. Bad service, mediocre food. We will never set foot on that restaurant EVER AGAIN. If I could give a zero star, I would give it a ZERO STAR.

There are far more better seafood restaurants in Bali than this. Jimbaran Seafood, HTP Seafood, Bu Rini Seafood at Sanur. Go to them,...

I made a reservation for dine in 5 days before my arrival. I arrived exactly at 5:00 PM for a reservation I had made at 6:00 PM. You will get a gorgeous sunset this time. The staff are very friendly. The food was served very quickly. Let's talk about the food: I ordered sautéed water spinach. There was nothing special about this vegetable. I also ordered plecing vegetables; the shrimp paste sambal was fresh and quite tasty, accompanied by fried peanuts. The grilled shrimp has not marinated well but has a very strong smoky aroma. It was sweet and slightly spicy. The oysters I ordered were very fresh, like they just got it from the sea. The grilled clams were very delicious, with an abundance of spices, a strong flavor, and I can smell strong of turmeric and red chili. The grilling gave it a wonderful smoky flavor. The grilled fish Kerapu I ordered was very tender and fresh, but the seasoning did not marinated well inside. The calamary was very good. The crispy was soft and the calamary was tender not chewy. The garlic butter clams were a little bit salty, that's why you should eat them with rice. All very good menu came in for 800.000 RP. Great price!
