Azure beach club & restaurant Jimbaran — Restaurant in Kuta

We decided to stop into Azure beach club before our flight, so we could enjoy a last dinner and sunset in Bali, to finish off an incredible holiday. Unfortunately, we had one drink and left and have been left with a bit of a bitter taste. We arrived around 4pm and ordered drinks and changed to go for a quick dip in the pool before dinner. When we had finished swimming, we were told there were no towels for the rest of the day (despite me being able to see a pile). Perplexed, my partner asked another server, and when he went searching, the manager/supervisor told him no. I’m really not sure what we could’ve done to offend but we were never told that there were no towels available at any point, as we wouldn’t have swam if we had known. We ended up changing and coming to the airport 5 hours early as a result as we did not feel very welcome at this point. As we were settling up for our two beers, the supervisor/manager walked past with a big bag of clean, fresh towels and the staff began to put them out on the table. We had no issues with paying for them or anything but we were blatantly told no. Not a very pleasant way to end our trip. It’s been a complete opposite experience to the welcoming and friendly Balinese service we’ve had this trip. 2 stars are purely for the view...

I had a great dinner at the Azure Beach Restaurant (next to Bawang Merah) hosted by Eddy. If you were to ask the local driver or GRAB, they may not know the location of this restaurant but it is worth the search and to come to this restaurant! No regrets. It is one of the best dining experience in BALI at Jimbaran beach with superb view of sunset plus seeing (very near) aircrafts landing or taking off at the edge of the runway. The restaurant itself has the 5 stars ‘feel’ as the food selection and the service was really great. The staffs are attentive, friendly and welcoming. Eddy was exceptional! As our host he picks the dishes for our group. Do not order yourself, allow Eddy to order for you! See my pictures to know the food that makes me write this review. Of course, there are many more other people (servers, cleaners, chefs/cooks, gardeners etc.) that that works tirelessly inside the Azure Beach Restaurant that I did not come into contact but whom try to rebuild BALI post COVID. We must support BALI tourism....

We had an excellent day at the Azure! The place is elegant and well maintained. You can eat à la carte but we chose the starter + main course + dessert menu (with 2 options for each part). We were 2 and it cost us just under €20 per person, including an extra bottle of water and an extra dessert that we had to add because, it has to be said, the first one was really too good to stop there. They really know how to make pastries here, word of a Frenchman! The starter and main course were not to be outdone, with decent portions and really good mouthfeel and taste. The service was perfect, everyone is there to take care of you. The waiters come to refill your glass of water when you finish it at just the right moment and only come to disturb you at relevant times, it's really very pleasant! After your meal, you can take advantage of the restaurant's swimming pool and the (very, very comfortable) mattresses and sofas to relax all afternoon in the sun...
