Panbakers Latimojong — Restaurant in Makassar

Atmosphere is good but the servicr is so-so even the food. Overlook the food is okay but taste is not too good. I even get the wrong order. I roder for aglio olio seafood woth poached egg on top but they serve me with aglio olio seafood with bread. The bread is tough like a dinner from yesterday night. The pasta dont have a strong taste, i can say the taste is bland. I ordered coconut lemonade, maybe i expect too much. I wanna young coconut lile a jelly turn out the coconut is so tough. If you can see the food pict of mine its look okay but the taste is bad like i can get a good presentation of food in other place. This place is too much. Even the service is bad. When the fors i enter the restauran then they ask me how much people i am, i said two and they show me the table in the corner near the window in behind and that its just a table and 2 facing chairs just for two people. My friend said that table is to narrow and want to move to the other side in front table with sofa and big window and they say is reserved. What actually i see is that table is not reserved because thay don't place the sign and when i finish my meal i pay to the cashier and through that table and that table is filled by 2 people. Wtf? I also 2 people with my friend. Why the place me behind? I dont recommend this place, first they got the wrong order, two they treat the customers...

I had a dining experience in Panbakers at Living Plaza near Panakkukang area before so I was quite elated when they finally opened in Latimojong. The place is very beautiful, cozy, photogenic, Instagrammable, etc. Etc. Basically it's pretty enough to be featured in a magazine or even television. And the service is also quite nice, the employees have enough knowledge about the menu, quick enough, and friendly. The restaurant is clean, with aesthetically pleasing presentation.

But apparently, the food is simply overrated. The taste is insignificant, no memorable experience whatsoever, and doesn't worth the money. It feels like they just mold one dish into one or two new forms and conclude them as parts of their menu. The desserts kinda fix the whole thing for me, but well, who knows, maybe I am simply biased at...

This is the first time i came to this restaurant, it got a nice relaxing concept restaurant, there are some fake plant in here give a feel like in a private garden, and there is a live music in here you can request a song or sing along with the band. There is a separate smoking area where you can't see the band it's quite disappointing for the smokers, for the rest room it's really instagramable it as if you can hang out in it (there is a chair and table in it)

For the food is quiete good for a restaurant, the pizza, nacos and the steak is recommended from me. The dessert in the menu is only a few the rest you can choose in at the bar.

The long black i tried in this restaurant got a good quality beans, it fresh and bodily.
