Malang Strudel — Restaurant in Malang

As someone who eagerly anticipates visiting Malang Strudel every time I’m in town, I have to say, I’m thoroughly disappointed. The store is renowned for its apple strudel, and rightly so—it's the flagship product that keeps customers coming back. However, the frustrating reality is that the apple strudel is often unavailable. Instead, the store shelves are filled with flavors like cheese, mixed fruit, peanut butter, and chocolate. While I’m sure some people might enjoy those, let’s be honest: it’s all about the apples.

It feels like walking into Burger King only to be told there are no burgers available. It’s baffling that a store branded as "Malang Strudel" and celebrated for its apple strudel would fail to consistently stock its most iconic product. Apple is the flavor people expect and crave—so why isn’t it treated as the priority it should be?

Malang Strudel, I beg you: keep the apple strudel in stock. Quit assuming that people will settle for the other flavors, because we won’t. Your apple strudel is what makes your brand stand out, and without it, you risk disappointing loyal customers who, like me, return specifically for that taste.

Nice hospitality!

Have many kinds of snacks (pie, lanang coffee, etc). But, not interesting enough for me. Not always about Malang here, because I even found 'chocodot' from Garut here (it's not local product). 😂

But, they have ice cream! 😃 and small place to enjoy it with friends.

Strudel adalah kue berlapis, yang terbuat dari pastry dan di isi berbagai buah-buahan. Kue ini adalah makanan populer di jaman Hasburg Empire (1278 – 1780) di Austria. Awal dari makanan ini diperkirakan ditemukan oleh bangsa Yunani dan Turki yang di kenal sebagai Backlava. Saking populernya, makanan ini menjadi makanan favorit rakyat Austria, Jerman dan negara Eropa lainnya. Di Eropa, Strudel yang terkenal dan favorit adalah yang berisi buah apel.
