Big woofers! You need to book ahead to get into the dining room where the dogs are (my mistake, I didn't) but if you don't, it's alright, you will still be able to get in the room and pet the dogs.
The food was great, the potatoes and wings were nice, although the sandwiches' inside were kinda mashed up (I don't recommend buying it if you don't want to get your hands dirty, that is if you don't have class like me and decided to use you hands to eat). The chocolate (milkshake?) that I ordered was awesome, and truth be told, worth the price and it filled my stomach when the food hadn't been delivered yet. Side note: you can wrap up your leftovers and bring it home.
Again, the dogs were very nice, obidient, and very well trained. My mother was in awe that they don't take food when your table full of yummy food were right beside them (again, if inside the room). Totally would come back if I ever come visit Malang again, I hope they renovate the place cause it's quite small for a cafe with dogs, there were quite few seats and in the room with the dogs there's only 3 tables I think. Again, if The Pavillion wants to give their best to their customers, I'd say they'd give more seats in the future so the people who didn't know the room were small and they won't really get seats if not for timing or booking would have their best impression of the place.
The workers there were very understanding (ones that worked with dogs) and kind (the waitresses), especially when my mother asked if we could take a picture with all of their dogs together. I hope they keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the experience with fluffy friends,...
Read moreThere are two sections of the café: the front (dog-free/waiting room) and the back (the dog room). You can order food and eat in the front and wait for your turn to enter, since the dog area has a limited number of people in it. Also, there is a small pet cat that roams freely in the waiting room. If you are afraid of, or are allergic to cats, keep this in mind.
The dogs are all so lovely. Well-trained, adorable sweethearts, they are. If you have young kids around 2-4 years old, please guide them so they can interact with the dogs in a proper manner (like not handling them roughly or screaming). The food is quite nice, nothing extraordinary, but a tad bit pricey. The food price is technically also the fee to play with the dogs, and so I think it's worth it. And don't worry about the place being loud, the dogs don't bark unless the handlers tell them to. The place is cool and comfy, and you can take a pic with the pups (With permission from the handlers). They also run a doggy daycare and sell dog treats to feed the dogs if...
Read moreWas so happy with the dogs but the main food was disappointing 😭 We ordered chicken steak, which was burnt until it turn dark brown on the outside and very dry 😭😭 And the Beef Saikoro, I believe was not saikoro at all. They might choose the wrong part of the beef, it had many ligaments that I couldn't chew. I actually bought it for my son, but of course he couldn't chew it either. Just some tiny bits that could be eaten. And it was expensive 🥲🥲🥲😉 Cute plating, tho. The salmon mentai was so-so. Mentai sauce a bit spicy so kids might not like it.
Too bad because the place was so lovable. All the dogs were cuuute and very kind, and some wear diapers so don't worry they can't pee on you. A pug named Nugget even slept on my feet 🥺 and a golden named Peppermint was very sweet.
So please if the management sees this, please fix the food. Something is wrong with the kitchen (I came here on 15 August...
