Aston Manado Hotel — Restaurant in Manado

We have stayed at this hotel twice. I recommend everyone who comes to Manado to stay here. I had a big problem: I forgot my mobile phone at the Jakarta airport and the staff of the Aston Hotel helped me to contact the offices and the airport staff, and finally my mobile phone arrived at the Manado airport! Unbelievable!

The Hotel staff, whom I thank wholeheartedly, especially Marshella and Jendri and Mitha helped me so much, they were friendly, helpful and very competent: for me they deserve 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Without their help and their phone calls and translations I would have lost my mobile phone... forever! The kitchen staff are also fantastic, friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is really great! Thanks to Andhika, Sherina and Tasya and all the other people witch I don' t know the name😞 I recommend it to everyone and especially the gado-gado! The Holtel Aston is very clean and very well equipped, in short, whoever stays in Sulawesi is still in paradise but better to start with Aston Hotel!

I stayed for 2 nights and I barely sleep due to noise. My room was on the 3rd floor (315) and it super noisy.

First night: Constant noise from upstair. There is the sound of drilling, moving furniture, loud laugh, and many more from 21.00 - 23.00. I believe it was time for guest to rest but I think the hotel don’t understand huh? I called for 3 times and on the last call I was angry and finally they promise to stop around 23.30. They did for a while but then the sound happen again around 2am in the morning.

Second night: Again, constant noise from upstair. There are no drilling sound but A LOT of moving furniture and shouting. This time, it happen around midnight until around 2am in the morning.

one more thing, I don’t understand but the staffs look us carrying many luggage and they don’t even offer to help? Why? I am sorry but I am definitely not looking forward to visit this...

A nice hotel in Manado. We stayed 2 days before we went to the Bunaken National Park. It's a 10min taxi ride away from the airport. The staff is very friendly and speaks fluent English. There is a concierge at the door who greets you very polite everytime and opens the door. We had a room on the 10th floor with a great view over the city, the ocean and the Bunaken National Park. The room was a bit older but very clean and a comfy bed. In the bathroom there were toothbrushes, soap, shower gel, shower cap and so on. Several restaurants, cafes, the mall and laundry places are just around the corner. The breakfast buffet is huge with lots of western and Asian options as well as fresh fruit. We would come again....
