Carpediem Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Manado

I decided to give this place one more try. The hostess seated us. Handed it the menus. I pointed at the menu. I wanted the humus and blacked salmon. My friend ordered the ham and cheese. Her order came. I asked about the humus. The hostess/waitress said you ordered to salmon. Yes but I wanted the humus as an appetizer. I waited and waited. Then they brought the salmon with chips when I specifically asked for the mash potatoes. The salmon was not blacked but had a sauce on top. Not what I ordered. Sent it back but someone else came out and said if I didn’t take what order on the app I would have to pay for two orders. I did not order off the app. Finally they brought the humus but then said they would get in trouble if I didn’t take what the cooked. The waitress never appeared again. I won’t be back. ...

i seriously didn’t expect much when a friend invited me for dinner at the most popular bar in manado so far.

the place is designed well

and the food, at first glance at the menu, whoah everything is so expensive.

when the food came out, it was all worth it. the steak, the burger , the risotto , everything is all worth it.

the drinks are good, bar standards

it’s the food that stood out.

the band the played was also entertaining

the best thing is that the place doesn’t smell of smoke. hardly anyone smoke here. no second hand smoke .

will come back again with family next time

Beautiful remodelled restaurant with nice ambience, soft music (not too loud as many local restaurants do). The place is elegant.

Variety of western food and the taste is western, most restaurant here advertise serves western food yet the taste far from western food... 😂, but CARPEDIEM is different, authentic food with authentic taste, awesome addition to the local. Nice swanky bar with different selection. I can tell the owner has sense of pride and respect for the customers, with great customer service, not many here in this area.

Restoran cantik yang direnovasi indah dengan suasana yang menyenangkan, musik lembut (tidak terlalu keras seperti yang dilakukan banyak restoran lokal). Tempatnya elegan.

Ragam makanan barat dengan rasa barat, sebagian besar restoran di sini mengaku menyajikan makanan barat namun rasanya jauh dari makanan barat😂, tapi CARPEDIEM berbeda, makanan otentik dengan rasa otentik, tambahan yang bagus untuk lokal. Bar megah yang bagus dengan pilihan berbeda. Saya bisa perkirakan bahwa pemilik restaurant ini memiliki rasa bangga dan peduli kepada kustomer nya, dengan layanan pelanggan yang luar biasa, tidak banyak ditemukan di restaurant lokal.
