I have to rate this only 4 stars as this location had only half the food items left as if 5:30pm on Sunday, which seemed pretty early to run out. Otherwise, this McDonald's is stellar. Come here to people watch, especially on a Sunday when most other restaurants and shops are closed. This McDonald's has a beautiful sunset view over the water, including views of Bunaken. On Sundays, the location is hopping but not crowded, full of families with children doing cartwheels in the grass, teenage friends taking endless selfies, and young couples falling in love. You can watch groups pedal around in music-blasting BMWs with pedal bike interiors while enjoying a rather eclectic (and occasionally too loud) music selection a la McDonald's featuring Coldplay, Indonesian pop, and Michael Buble. Definitely a highlight of Manado.

McD lost its #1 fast food restaurant status in Manado already a while back when Burger King opened up in Manado. But we still kept on coming back because nothing beats their Triple Cheeseburgers and of course Chicken Nuggets. But this time they really messed it up for us. We arrived at a McDrive that wasn’t working, couldn’t order at the intercom and had to wait until we reached the last window, where you normally get your food. It took about 35 minutes!!! until it was our turn. We wanted to get 2x the new Big Mac Menu but that is as sold out so we ordered 3x Triple Cheeseburger menu. Then it was time to pay and as always I pay with card, I don’t carry much cash money around these days. To my big surprise their system wasn’t online yet, these were the words from the cashier, and she couldn’t proces my card for the payment yet. She asked me why I don’t have cash money on me??? The kids very disappointed of course but we made the best out of the situation and went to Burger King where went through the Drive in 5 minutes, after 10 minutes we had our food and I could pay by card. This might very well be our last visit to McD in Manado. I still consider ordering their food online…..

Service was quick and below a Minute, personal was friendly even to non bahasa Indonesia speaking Bule, Fries where warm an crispy, ordered fish Box, which was also delicious and warm at serving. Toilets where clean but one better bring your own tissues as it wasnt maintained regularly by the Staff, also the outer area was a bit dirty. Took over an hour until someone carried the trash of the tables away. Nice view on manado bay, ESP. at Dawn or sunset.its also a 24/7 Store with mc Cafe. Would recommend this one to others.

Ya .. itu satu-satunya McDonald's di Manado. Tidak banyak yang dapat dikatakan tentang tempat ini, menunya adalah sesuatu yang dapat Anda temukan di McDonald's mana pun, rasanya sama .. Ini hanya McDonald's biasa Apa yang membuatnya berbeda adalah pemandangan Teluk Manado. Dan matahari terbenam yang indah. Tempat ini telah terkenal untuk bergaul dengan teman-teman bagi sebagian besar remaja. Layanan cepat dan di bawah satu menit, pribadi ramah bahkan untuk Bule berbahasa non-Indonesia, kentang yg hangat, kotak ikan renyah, yang juga lezat dan hangat dalam melayani. Toilet di mana bersih tapi lebih baik membawa tisu Anda sendiri karena tidak dikelola secara teratur oleh staf, juga area luar agak kotor. Butuh lebih dari satu jam sampai seseorang membawa sampah dari meja. Pemandangan indah di manado, saat fajar atau matahari terbenam. juga toko 24/7 dengan mc Cafe. Akan merekomendasikan ini kepada orang lain.
