"Warung Street Food" on Nusa Penida has pleasantly surprised us on two separate occasions with an exceptional culinary experience. As discerning diners, especially in a place like Bali where the risk of "Bali Belly" is ever-present, we were delighted. On our first visit, we indulged in delicious Indonesian dishes, and on the second day, we ventured into some more daring Western options. It's evident that food safety is of utmost importance to them, which is also reflected in the numerous positive reviews. Our personal recommendations would be the chicken burger and the chicken teriyaki. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the ladies running this Warung exude friendliness and dedication. Our experience here surpassed that of many fancier dining establishments. The only minor drawback we could identify was the somewhat thin smoothie in the smoothie bowl, although this didn't detract from the taste. "Warung Street Food" is certainly worth going out of your way for.

Recommend by our Airbnb hostess, nice local Warung owned by a very sweet Lady, managed to have a chit chat with the lady boss and apparently they have been opened from 5 months. Even gave us some local secret locations to visit to avoid the crowd. She was also super attentive asking if the food was okay and if she could add anything to make the food better. Food is honestly fantastic for the price you’re paying! Smoothie bowl was awesome. Ofcourse don’t expect a super clean restaurant but one of the cleaner Warungs for sure. It’s just neighboring warung The Voyage, so it’s easy to miss but would definitely highly recommend giving this place a visit. All for supporting local businesses and this is definite must visit place for brekky!

Had an amazing food in this place. They are a local family who are kind and very hard workers. They make you feel super comfortable and if you need any change in your plate of even want a completely different plate they actually make it happen! We loved spending time there, it was such a great experience and I recommend it for vegan and vegetarian people ( I am vegetarian) Supporting local people and their businesses is so important for a sustainable economy, come here!

Went here today after reading amazing reviews on the vegan burger. When checking with the staff it is vegan cheese she just nodded and agreed. I wasn’t sure she understood, so I asked to check the cheese.

Turns out it’s dairy… which makes it not vegan 🤨 this is a serious problem and needs to be changed on the menu! I’m severely allergic to dairy 🤦🏽‍♀️ had I just ordered this, I may have ended up in hospital..

they also have another ‘vegan’ dish which contains egg

I see your amazing reviews so I will take this review down as soon as I see that you have taken VEGAN off the menu and changed to VEGETARIAN. Please make yourself aware of the difference so you avoid these...
