This is our first night in Canggu and we decided to check our Friends Bar and we are so glad we did! The cocktails were absolutely delicious- we particularly enjoyed ‘West Side’. The bar is also very attractive, with gorgeous coffee tables illuminated with neon signs. The staff were so hospitable, checking in and offering to play at the pool table. We even ended up playing against their staff… and lost! 😂 The manager made a special effort to speak with us about our experience in Bali so far and offer his own recommendations. The vibe is super laid-back with comfy outdoor sofas, a pool table to keep you entertained, and an all-around great atmosphere. The service here is top-notch – special shoutout to Sanita, who went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a laid-back bar with friendly vibes and great hospitality!

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to unwind with great company, Friends Bar is the place to be. The cocktails are absolutely top-notch—creative, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re into the classics or something a bit more adventurous, the bartenders know their craft and deliver every time.

The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in. The music, lighting, and overall energy create the perfect setting for everything from casual drinks to a fun night out.

Bartender Agus outstanding service with a smile really upped the good vibes!

The vibe and music were great, but the billing experience ruined the night. There was a “free flow cocktails for ladies” offer from 10–11 PM. I wasn’t planning to drink at first since the waitress gave no clear context. After my husband clarified the promo, I ordered—well within the time. He also mentioned the promo while ordering. So, not a communication issue from our end.

However, still, we were charged for the drink, with the staff insisting the drinks were outside the promo window, which wasn’t true. We also got a random cocktail we never ordered. Not charged for it, but it felt strange.

Left feeling misled and disappointed. This is not about paying for one extra drink after drinking 10 drinks. Won’t be coming back....

Canggu is full of fake image and fake promises.

I didn't have any expectations and dreams about Canggu left, when I went into Friends Bar.

The Bar design was above average, but nothing extraordinary. I gave Friends Bar a try and ordered a Margarita.

It was the best drink I ever had in South East Asia. The perfectly balanced harmony of taste and ingredients hid a very generous amount of quality alcohol.

This Margarita was enlighteningly good. Its too good to compare it with other drinks. It 100% wins over my meditation retreat in Ubud. I felt enlightened without even trying.
