đ§¶My rating: 3/5 đThe layout: At every table there was hand sanitizer, which was nice. There were many tables with 2 long benches and a few tables with 2 seats. There was also this long booth for multiple people to sit on with a small table. There were also a few tables closer to the cashier and the parking space.
đČMy experience: At the time I went it was very busy, but I think that if it wasn't that busy it would be a good place to snack and study or work on your computer. I went with my parents and my mom didn't really like the food, but my dad on the other hand, didn't think his food was that bad. So it was a bit of a mixed perspective.
I think it's a nice place and probably has some pretty good food, but we just didn't find it to our liking enough to go back. From my experience the location was a bit far; the food wasnât all that special, it seems like a good play to use my computer at though.
đLikes: I liked that there was music in the background; it was quite up beat. I had a drink and I was kind of surprised that it was a good portion (Monkey Magic smoothie). The service was friendly and quick. I noticed that they seemed quite organized, alert, and the food did arrive pretty quickly.
âDislikes: I think the menu was cardboard; it was a different material. I wish the menu had pages, not just a single page and pictures, because even though I was hungry I just got a drink because I was a bit confused by the menu. There were a lot of options, though.
đȘExtra info: The parking space is way better than some places; itâs much easier to park, especially if there arenât other vehicles already parked. There was a small playground for kids that was yellow and blue. The playground was a bit farther in the restaurant.
âRecommendation: If you just want to get a snack and chill with your friends or study or just use your computer for a while. Itâs also a good place for families, especially the kids, because thereâs a playground. A nice place...
Read moreWe came here for lunch before noon. This restaurant has no AC. We ordered summer pizza small size, it comes with 8 small slices and it has fresh burrata cheese on it, and some tomatoes and arugula, there no meat on it, it's enough size for sharing as an appetizer for 5 people. The pizza was good, and the crust was crispy. Will definitely come back for the pizza. They also have promo buy 1 get 1 for the pizza every Sunday and Tuesday after 4pm. We also ordered The Madu. Basically, it's a breakfast toast with smashed avocado, egg Benedict, grilled tomatoes, and bacon. It's a classic breakfast, and nothing could go wrong with it. It was quite filling if you needed a big breakfast. Beef Lasagna was ok, not bad. Tuna poke bowl has a good balance flavor, sweet and savory. The tuna that they served was still half frozen, I don't think it should be like that, but with the warm temperature in Bali, I guess its OK. The deep-fried sushi ginger is a good balanced for the tuna. You can ask for extra chili flakes to sprinkle it in if you like spicy food. The Byron Bowl is a falafel salad. It was good and comes with sour dough bread that is good. For the drink, we ordered lychee ice tea in a jug, just enough for sharing with 5 people. It comes with 2 pieces of lychee fruit and 2 scoops of ice cream in it. It's not too sweet because it comes with ice cubes in individual cups. Their service was good. They were attentive enough, but the drink and food came quite slow. There also had live music on that day, it was nice, but quite loud so you need to talk louder with your...
Read moreWe used to love this restaurant and came here every other night during our holidays. Unfortunately, after our last visit we wonât be coming back even though we still have two weeks left. Your loss.
The staff has always been great, but the manager this time? Not so much. We ordered two pizzas as we always do and asked for house water. The glasses for house water are quite small, so when our pizzas arrived we asked for a refill. It happened to be the manager passing by and he clearly didnât like the request deciding to charge us for something that has always been free. This was our fifth visit and it had never been an issue before. It felt petty and unwelcoming.
Having water with our meal is normal for us and we usually stay for dessert and drinks to enjoy the evening. But after this, the mood was ruined and we felt insulted. Itâs disappointing to be treated this way at what used to be our go-to spot. Such a lame experience.
Oh well, thanks to the manager, we found a great place next door. :)
P.S. We donât like aluminum with our pizzas. Just a suggestion, switch to normal plates. Using scratched aluminum plates can cause small amounts of metal to scrape into food, potentially affecting taste and raising minor...
