Kepitu Restaurant by The Kayon Resort — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

My wife and I went to Kepitu Restaurant for a spontaneous dinner on a friday night. What should I say, we got one of the loveliest experience on our whole trip. It started by being shown where to park our scooter, being guided to our table and after that we were treated so kindly and professional the next 2 hours we spent there. The atmosphere with the whole lighting and candles sitting next to the nice garden is very enjoyable. As for the food, everything was well prepared and for our taste very delicious. It might be a bit more pricier than other places, but for us the experience was totally worth it.

What's more, we came to a short chat with an interested waiter, asking us, if it was a special evening for us (indeed it was, as we were heading back home one day after from our honeymoon). We were surprised, when we got a new set of cutlery, since we didn't order something for dessert. Shortly after, we were served a tasty brownie (on the house!) with chocolate sauce topping and a written happy honeymoon on the dish. That's just wow and such an thoughtful gesture.

That's not the end - at that evening they had a live musician (who gave a lovely performance). We were asked by the waiter if we would have a wish for a song to be played. One song later our wedding song was played. That gave us so much joy and happiness, it's hard to put in words.

We are so grateful to made that choice, spending our evening there and also being treated by the staff absolutely sublime. Thank you so so much!

We booked the Romantic Dinner on the Sky Lounge at The Kayon Resort – a private setting just for the two of us – and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience!

The atmosphere was magical and they created for us a romantic table surrounded by lush jungle and the calming sounds of nature.

The food was outstanding – each course was beautifully presented and full of flavor, combining fresh local ingredients with refined culinary artistry.

The service was equally impressive. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make the evening special for us. A big thank you for the warm hospitality and care!

Our first Romantic Dinner. Lokasi restaurant ada di The Kayon Truly Ubud Resort yang dimana banyak sekali brand The Kayon di Bali yg menyebabkan para staff pasti akan memastikan kebenaran alamat reservasi kita (itu yg kita alami, saat pertama kali mau masuk dan bertemu salah satu Security team disana). Setelah sampai Lobby, staff Front Office memastikan reservasi kami dan akhirnya diantar ke table kami. Sangat disayangkan kami tiba tepat pukul 7 pm dimana keadaan disana sudah cukup gelap yg mengakibatkan kurangnya pencahayaan pada foto momen-momen kami (namanya juga dinner, ya jelas malam hari lah). Sepertinya kalau kami datang 30 menit lebih awal sambil nunggu jam 7 pm (start dinner nya jam 7 pm ya dan close 11 pm) pasti bakalan sempat melihat asrinya indahnya dan romantisnya suasana disana (suasana malamnya tidak kalah romantis sih sebetulnya apalagi banyak lilin bertebaran). Kita lanjut ke acara romantic dinner kita, 1 waiter akan standby untuk serve kita mulai dari pilih menu, minuman, jelaskan step by step dinner kita nanti dan diinfo juga kalau kita bisa request lagu juga (kebetulan setiap sabtu mereka ada Event gitu yg ada live music nya). Hidangan dari pembuka sampai penutup enak semua dan fresh. Saya paling suka dessertnya, unik dan enak. Untuk minuman, suami saya yg pilih semua yaitu 2 coktail (kata suami Green Kayon nya the best) sedangkan saya additional balian water. Awalnya kita merasa bakalan laper lagi sampai nambah 1 french fries dan ternyata hidangan dinnernya sudah lebih dari cukup. Saat dinner, momen romantic nya dapet banget, banyak deep talk sama suami sambil bahas ini dan itu juga pluss decor yg romantic abis. Kalau untuk staff, jangan ditanya lagi, sudah pasti ramah dan semua tamu diperlakukan setara (sempet ada miss sedikit saat kami akan melakukan pembayaran additional menunya dan teratasi dengan cepat). Untuk toilet, kita sempat coba toilet yg persis ada dibawah lobby, toilet bersih dan berfungsi dengan baik. Disini juga ada beberapa peraturan yg lumayan berbeda dengan restaurant atau hotel lainnya, jadi saran saya tanya atau hubungi terlebih dahulu atau cek IG mereka (pasti direspon).
