This is one of the most authentic wildlife experience I’ve come across in Bali. The people are doing the work for the love for the birds… they rescue baby birds that fall off the nests during the nesting season, and breed them to adulthood, and release them… and continue to support those that come back with injuries and food… We can support this work through eating at the cafe and donating to the box! Bird feeding is available if you are there at feeding times! The food is also very good and prepared at ordering!! Well worth a car...

This is a really special place and not like anything else you will experience in Bali. The cafe is great, good food and really affordable. But you're also supporting an important conservation project by visiting. You can see the bird rescue centre and learn from the staff about the efforts to protect these beautiful birds. We visited in nesting season (wet season) at lunchtime and saw hundreds of birds in the trees all around even during the day. Such a cool place run by lovely people and totally worth the short trip...
