awesome place, the staff are so friendly, the owner and his son sat down with us for the long period of time we were there and talked to us the whole time, talked about his culture and asked about ours. it was lovely to see the owner if the restaurant because where i’m from (new zealand) it is very rare to see the owner in their restaurant, let alone have them speak to you. the owner spoke very highly of his staff and praised a staff member infront of us for doing an awesome job. he was always getting up to say hello to customers he has seen in before. it was just a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful place. very clean and tidy and had an awesome vibe. would 100% recommend to a big or small group, as they do an awesome job at...

Tonight we dined here, under new management. I ordered the grilled tuna which was cooked very well, not dry like some I've had before. It was accompanied by vegetables and crinkle cut chips (I'd choose different chips/french fries personally) but they sufficed. The garlic butter sauce was great too. My wife had the mushroom leek lasagna which was very tasty. It's not a layered lasagna like we cook at home in Australia but she enjoyed it. The fried banana was the best we've had this holiday. This restaurant has recently been refurbished and overlooks the ocean. It is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. They have a brand new kitchen and are planning to hold cooking classes in the future. The menu has a selection of upmarket western dishes and traditional Balinese food. My mushroom and leek lasagne whilst unconventional was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They even made a dessert for us that wasn't on the menu. The new owner is keen to cater for the more decerning palate. I highly recommend you try this place out. You won't be disappointed. Make sure ask for Nonik....
