Lovina Ocean Dolphin Tour — Attraction in Pulau Bali

We had a terrible experience with this tour and especially Kadek. I wanted to book a sharing boat tour but he told me this was not possible at 8:30. We settled for the private tour because of the reviews, although it was pricier. The next morning when we came he did not have our booking, in other words we did not have a booking, but we could come along for the sharing tour. This was a little weird because the day before he told me this was not possible, but we were fine with it because that was what we wanted in the first place. We waited almost a half hour, until 9:00 but the other booking never came. After waiting for half an hour he wanted us to pay the private boat price because we were going with a private boat. I told him we were not going to pay full price because he just promised us the shared boat and next to that we waited half an hour! He immediately got unfriendly and told us we had to pay for the private boat and that the other guy not showing up was not his responsibility. Ok, but it wasn't ours either? After going back and forth he told us that if we weren't happy we could go find another tour. Well fine by me, i did not want to support his tour anymore with his attitude. But when we walked over to another tour he went with us and said something in Indonesian and after that the man told us from a different tour he could not take us.... we walked over to the next and he kept following us, even when i told him not to, and each time he said something to the tour operator and they would not take us. He spoiled Lovina for us. So ABSOLUTELY do not support this mean man. Everyone listened to him what was actually really scary. Awful experience!!

Kadek, it was about the bad communication, but most of all it was because of your attitude we left. We paid the same price at another tour because they were deserving, you were absolutely not deserving of the money in the way you treated us! Next to that we did NOT agree on the fact that we would pay the full price again when someone did not show up. You said we HAD to go with the shared boat because someone else was coming, you did not give us a choice. And when they did not show up we had to book the private tour again. These were no choices but obligations given by you, Kadek. And next to that we waited 30 minutes for your business you can not say we were not understanding in some way because of that. It was completely your attitude that did it for us.

An unbelievable experience that will be one of the highlights of our trip in Asia. We looked online to see which company had the best reviews for this trip and contacted a few different places to get prices and this company had the best reviews and best price, so it was great.

I contacted Kadek through their website as there was a link for their WhatsApp on there. I explained the package we wanted which included pick up and drop off from Ukuwatu. Kadek was fantastic at understanding our requirements and getting back to us quickly. We were picked up with ease by a driver he had arranged at 3am to ensure we got to Lovina for sunrise. The driver he arranged communicated with us regularly in the lead up to the trip and arrived on time.

When we arrived we were given our boat captain Andy who took us to the boat. The boat was well looked after and we had no concerns about safety. He took us to a good quiet spot to start with and we managed to see a handful of dolphins as the only boat in the water. We then sailed for a while trying to find more but then went to a busier spot which I think was a hotspot for them. There was us and 3 other boats and all the boats seemed respectful to give the dolphins space. We then jumped in the water and held on to the swing, swam next to the dolphins and watched them swim underneath us with our snorkels. Andy was great at making sure we saw everything. He was really good at making sure we were comfortable and safe, top guy.

We saw many dolphins and after 3.5 hours headed back in the direction of the harbour and stopped for some snorkelling in the coral reef which was fun. We then got driven back to Uluwatu immediately when finished

He stayed longer than the other boats, ensuring that when it was our turn to swim with the dolphins, we had a completely uninterrupted and truly intimate experience. It felt like we had the entire ocean and its playful inhabitants to ourselves! The opportunity to swim alongside these magnificent creatures was pure magic – a moment we'll cherish forever. And to top off an already awesome morning, the snorkeling afterward was fantastic, offering beautiful underwater views.
