This restaurant was a wonderful discovery during our time in Yogyakarta, quickly becoming a highlight of our trip. The atmosphere is truly special, with a spacious setting surrounded by lush greenery. The design embraces a minimalistic style, yet thoughtful details make the space feel warm and inviting.
The food was delicious, and the fish we ordered was soft, flavorful, and very rich in sauce—though a slightly larger portion would have been appreciated. Despite this, the quality of the meal was impressive. The pricing is excellent, making it a fantastic choice for a great dining experience without breaking the bank.
They have a dedicated page in the menu for plant based meals too, which we think its amazing and more restaurants should offer to vegans or vegetarians.
The staff was friendly, though they seemed a bit inexperienced and at times less attentive. However, this did not overshadow the overall charm of the place, which delivers a relaxing, enjoyable experience worth five stars. If you're in Yogyakarta looking for a unique dining spot, this place is definitely...
Read moreCame to this establishment, decor and ambience looked nice and I had high hopes. Food was very average, nothing to shout about.
But I’m writing this cos of the service. First of all, the server did not repeat our order back to us. They gave us a double portion of sesame beef with rice though we ordered one. Originally we decided to be kind and just take on the extra portion to make things easy for them. I think we are accepting fault when we did that. We ordered kids meal of chicken meatballs which came about the time that most of the meals were finished already. We had thought they have forgotten or misheard our order.
The server wanted to insist we take the chicken meatballs as well. We tried to reason with them but they were quite fixated on it. Making the meal really quite unpleasant. They finally relented and took it back. They did try and make good by offering us 2 glasses of plain water which I wasn’t sure they meant as a joke or not… cue: roll eyes
Also we went at a time there is barely any people, service...
Read moreThe hype of Jogja, i could say, almost every locals ive met recommended me to try this. I went there for lunch and ordered their chicken signature, feeling green juice, almond chai pudding. The chicken was surprisingly good, i love the coleslaws, mashed potatoes are not amazing but good, chicken is a bit on the overcook side but still tasty. Their feeling green juice was not ok though (its too sweet), i expected a healthy drink from this and getting the opposite feeing after drinking it. The chai pudding was just average too, like i can sense some of the ingredients put are not the freshest. I sat outside which feels better given theres distance between one table and another, and you can enjoy the breeze. Inside seatings looked cramped and hot given they have open kitchen setup that is visible when u order your foods. Price wise very fair, leaning towards cheap. Location is very2 nice tho! Worth a try at...
