Bowery Restaurant — Restaurant in Semarang

Fine dining restaurant that will be suitable for you that would like to enjoy a fancy dishes with extraordinary service. The location is strategically located in the middle of town, easily accessed by any public transportation and not so far from city center (Simpang Lima). They provide VIP valet parking as well, the parking area is wide enough for some cars. The exterior and interior design are classic industrial, with the warm tone and bold colors pallete in the furnitures mostly in black, wooden brown, and emerald. They have indoor no smoking and indoor smoking area. The tables are plenty and suitable for groups. The ambiance are warm and comfortable, clean, and not too noisy as well. They do put attention on the target market and focusing on giving best experience. They also have a proper and instagrammable spots to take pictures, even in their toilets! The waiter & waitress are very helpful and friendly. They even memorize the orders of the guests and serve that properly. They take the after meals plates quickly. When the guest are choosing their menus, they even give the recommendation in a polite way to make the ordering session more easy. After the dining session, a waitress give the guest review card as their feedback which is a good innovation. If possible, you can also give an incentives or little gift for loyal costumers who sent a good feedback. The food variations are complete including western and Nusantara foods. The price are ranging around up to 50k to hundreds, however the portions and plating don't lies. The portions are big enough and the tastes are solid. I love how they put attention on the plating and the garnish, staying true with the photos on the menu book. However, the menu books only provides the list name of the foods, if the guest want to know the looks, needs to scan the barcode and open the virtual menu. This a bit bothersome for the elderly I believe. Overall I had a special experience to have lunch here with my office mates. I recommend younto have a try and I give rates for 9/10 for...

Went out to lunch here with my best buddies, and totally had a blast trying out Bowery's new menu.

We had the Dry Aged grilled Duck, Beef Tartare, and of course, one could not leave out Bowery's very own Signature Pizza🤤 Always a favorite must have!

Truth be told, I'm not a fan of Duck dishes...until today that is 😄 trying out their 14 days Dry-aged duck really changed my whole perspective. The meat was so buttery smooth the second I pierced my fork into it, mind blowing, more so when I bite into it...pure decadent ✨ Along with the condiments and the pureed Cauliflower, spot on👌🏻 Had to order 2nd serving of just the pureed cauliflower.

The steak Tartare, matter of bad timing, coz I just recovered from a food poisoning the day before 😅 Hence I decided not to take a chance on it. But my friend did. The way he described it was it's delish and refreshing, prolly from the citrus in it too. Such a shame I couldn't try it, but I shall the next time fer sure 💪🏻

Lastly, the Pizza...no comment really 🙄 Hands down the Best Pizza in town, done n done‼️

Am an avid fan of this restaurant, years and years the management have maintained their quality of service and food; simply amazed.

My absolute new favorite is the Wagyu Phó, hands down the Best in town👍🏻✨

This place is great with ambience as great, and it's cool especially when it's very hot outside, simple, modern, and beautiful decoration. They also have smoking-only room separated from non-smoking ones, and car park is vast with valet service. The food is delicious, even for those who used to eat meat would find this place unforgettable, even more so of their "Ribeye Angus". The ribeye is juicy, has just enough amount of fat, and well seasoned (salt and pepper seasoning). There are several options for sauce like blackpepper, mushroom, barbeque, creamy, etc. along with a side dish of your choosing like french fries or mashed potatoes. Menu is pretty much WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get), sole exception is the salad. I got several problematic salad, where yes, it's organic but doesn't mean riddled with holes, not fresh, nor blackened. They also have a variety of drinks, wide variety of teas and coffees. Waiters are well-trained, and my waiter remembered all of my orders down to the detailed instructions without taking notes. Toilet is cool, clean, and just felt hygienic overall, with a lot of tissues. Lastly for the price, in my opinion it is very much justified and can also be said as affordable for this quality of both food and service.
