I recently had the pleasure of dining at Horapa Thai Restaurant, and I must say it was an unforgettable gastronomic journey. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a remarkable evening.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the Gurami fish with pineapple sauce. To put it simply, it was a masterpiece on a plate! The flavors were an impeccable blend of sweet and savory, with a delightful hint of tropical zest from the pineapple sauce. The Gurami fish was expertly cooked to perfection, tender and flaky, while the sauce added a burst of freshness and a touch of Thai authenticity.

What truly stood out about this dish was the impeccable balance of flavors and textures. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of tastes, and the presentation was a work of art in itself. It's evident that the chefs at Horapa Thai Restaurant are not just cooking; they are crafting culinary masterpieces.

The service at Horapa Thai Restaurant was equally commendable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was impeccable.

The Gurami fish with pineapple sauce was just the beginning of our culinary adventure at Horapa Thai Restaurant. The menu is a treasure trove of Thai delights, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their offerings. Whether you're a Thai food aficionado or a newcomer to the cuisine, Horapa Thai Restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

In conclusion, Horapa Thai Restaurant exceeded all expectations, and I left with a newfound appreciation for Thai cuisine. The Gurami fish with pineapple sauce was a revelation, and I can't wait to savor it again. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines exquisite flavors, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere, look no further than Horapa Thai Restaurant. It's a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise...

Horapa is one of the well-known Thai restaurant in town. Located in the area near Taman Gajah Mungkur, you can easily follow the direction from Google Maps. The building itself is very visible since it has 3 stories & large Horapa logo on the front side (not to mention some street signs leading to the building).

Once arriving, you'll be welcomed by a security that will show you the place to park your vehicle. You can park on the ground floor (1st floor) or in front of the building. The parking area for motorcycles is on the ground floor, at the left back side.

The entry area is located directly on the front left side of the building. There are stairwell & an elevator. The restaurant is only on the 2nd floor though there is no sign for it on the entry area. You can directly use the stair instead of the elevator. Sign for the restaurant are on the elevator floor buttons with the 3rd floor for ballroom.

Once entering the restaurant, you will be welcomed and led to your table. Be advised that some tables are very well lit from the window but it gets quite hot, so choose tables that will be shaded oe away from the window. The ambience is nice & the interior design is chic modern.

The menu is actually not 100% Thai food since some food tasted a bit more fusion. Choose the Tom Yam, any soup base dish or fish dish to taste the Thai cuisine flavor. The kitchen team work quite fast but you will wait for a while during rush hour. You can reserve ahead of time and order the food too so you won't...

In my opinion The taste is so far from authentic thai cuisine

Pad thai : Actually taste is not bad But i can’t call that is a pad thai, is just like indonesian mee goreng 5/10

Steam fish : came out with half cooked, so fishy, service is good they change to new one, but this time is overcooked 🙈 meat is too hard and tasteless

Sweet and sour chicken : this one is good, is just perfect not to sweet not to sour 8/10

Tahu siram jamur shimeji : tofu is smooth but tasteless, the sauce is to thick, vegetable is not washed properly, i taste a sand on it 😰

Black pepper beef : perfect, the beef is tender 8/10

Red curry : i didn’t try this dish but my family said it is nice 7/10

Garlic chicken wing : crispy, but a bit bland 6/10

Rice : come in small portion like half small bowl only (doesn’t make any sense)

Place is nice but

the point is the price Its too pricey for semarang and in my opinion it’s not worth it

Even im using cashback voucher it still to expensive

Too bad im never gonna back to this rest

They have promotion , if you review in google review they will give 50k voucher No wonder the review is...

This is best authentic thai kitchen in town! Taste is so nice & yumm. Especially banana fritters with sesame, sesame give crunchiness texture & fragrants i love it! The Ambience was so nice, luxury & warm. Crew also nice. Unfortunatelly Shrimps in salad with mango is overcooked when u bite it a bit rubbery, and seafood tomyum too. Oh ya, the packaging of lunch box their sold not represent their luxury, HORAPA. May be u need re-design the packaging to be simple & luxury.
