Barista Class Academy Review.

Please note that not only as a cafe, but Strada Coffee Semarang also opens a coffee academy every month, with various class options such as barista class, manual brew, sensory, and combo class. For more details, please see IG @stradacoffee.id 😉

Since I only took the barista class, I will review the barista class. The barista class was held for 2 days (where each day lasted for 4 hours), with the materials taught including: a general introduction to coffee, an introduction to espresso machines, how to calibrate espresso, sensory analysis of espresso, steaming milk and latte art, and how to maintain and clean the workspace to keep it clean.

This class is really suitable for a beginner. As a beginner, the material in this class is very worth. The material is taught from the beginning to cleaning in a short but concise manner (singkat tapi padat).

Oh and also, when you take this class, you will get a module, apron, voucher, and certificate at the end of the class 😃

Strada Coffee & Caffe in Semarang has become one of my favorite spots to chill. The place feels really comfortable with a cozy atmosphere that makes me enjoy spending time here, either just relaxing or catching up with friends. The vibe is calm but not boring, and it has that kind of “homey” feeling that makes you want to stay longer.

The food and drinks here are absolutely worth trying. Everything looks nice when served, and of course tastes amazing too. On my last visit, I tried one of their signature drinks, Es Kopi Ketan Hitam – honestly, it’s unique and super delicious. I also ordered a Matcha Latte, which was creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Not to forget, their snacks are also tasty and make a great companion for the drinks.

So far, I’ve already visited this café twice, and each time I leave with a happy feeling. I can see myself coming back again and again whenever I’m in Semarang. Definitely a recommended spot if you’re looking for a cozy place with great food, drinks, and a...
