Waroeng Steak and Shake — Restaurant in Semarang

I ordered for the first time here. I've placed my order in cashier. First, the cashier asked if I wanted to add ice cream to the chocolate milkshake and orange. I said no. After that, only orange juice (my friend's order) that was brought by the waiter. I'm still thinking, "Oh maybe my drink will come later". However, because my drink never came, I looked at the receipt and it just says my food, my friend's food and my friend's drinks. Like.. where's my drink? My milkshake bro?? I still remember writing 'chocolate milkshake' on the paper and u make it disappears from the list?? So, I ate from start to finish without drinking.

Second, I ordered Cordon Bleu with Brown Sauce. I say it again, brown sauce. However, what came was cordon bleu which was like being doused in soup. The sauce is clear and runny, it has no brown elements in it. I already know what brown sauce is like on steak, but this doesn't match my expectations. I just feel like eating Cordon Bleu without tasting the sauce at all. Honestly, I've eaten at Waroeng Steak in the Ungaran branch and the last time I ordered Cordon Bleu there, their sauce was a brown sauce which is really brown sauce on steak in general. But here I feel like I'm getting soup sauce :( . It really reduced my appetite because the sauce was tasteless too.

Third, my friend ordered Chicken Steak with Cheese Sauce. When it arrived, the wooden plate had lots of ants. It wandered across our table. I took a tissue and wiped them all away. What's this?

That's my first experience here. As for the service, it's actually good because the food comes quickly along with the performance of the waiter. Like any other branches, Waroeng Steak always offer a fast service on serving the foods, even though the prices increase significantly compared to decade ago, however the quality of the foods never changed. Also, they now have various menu choices from different price range. They even have premium beef steak menu that cost almost one hundred thousand IDR. Besides, they also have package menu that is quite affordable in price. This branch facilities are also quite decent, it's equipped with indoor dining area with air conditioner, large area with a lot of tables, toilet, praying room, clean wastafel and estetic mural on the wall. I had doubts about the wagyu beef, because of its price of 100k and usually is more expensive. My doubt increased when no one asked me about if I wanted it rare medium or well done.. I still ordered it, because felt like I really need to see if I get some special meat for that price. It wasn't anything special, and they brought it well-done, despite me ordering medium. I think they never heard of medium or rare. I like the sauce and other dishes are ok. But avoid ordering Wagyu. this is not the right restaurant for that, and they should remove it from their menu.
