I knew Robinson from Tiktok and decided to give it a try because of the good reviews from food bloggers but I was disappointed.
Came here on Sunday for late lunch with some friends, ada sekitaran 5 meja lain selain kami. Ambience was good, nicely decorated, hostess was helpful. The only disappointment was their poor services.
Untuk 1 meja dengan 6 orang tamu kami hanya diberikan 1 buku menu while di meja lain dengan 2 orang tamu, masing-masing tamu dapat 1 buku menu. We asked for more menu books couple of times tp ga di provide sama waiternya. My friend ordered Unagi Uramaki, there should be sliced avocado on side of the plate as pictured and stated in the menu but what we got was the other way around. We tried to ask the waiter if there should be sliced avocado like in the menu, he said "beda kak menunya". Setelah kita make sure kalau itu menu yang sama, baru diberikan sliced avocado on different plate. I ordered Butter Teriyaki Chicken Steak, it should come with Cauliflower Steak, Roasted Corn Ribs, Crispy Potato Stacks but they replaced Roasted Corn Ribs and Crispy Potato Stacks with Omelette without prior information or even slight notice while serving the dish. Baru ketika saya bertanya ke waiter diinfokan bahwa Roasted Corn Ribs dan Crispy Potato Stacks-nya habis.
Overall, it was one disappointing experience. Sayang sekali karena price-wise not that cheap either but the services given was terribly poor. Some waiters looked confused when being asked questions. Waiters need more training on handling customers and basic...
Read moreI recently checked out Robinson and while it wasn't mind-blowing, it was still a solid experience. The atmosphere was chill and the staff were friendly, which made for a pleasant time. The music was on point too, so kudos on that. Just a heads up, seating is limited for indoor dining, so keep that in mind.
Starting with the grub, I tried the big breakfast. The food was simple and tasted pretty good, but it was a bit too peppery for my taste. Despite that, it was still filling and a great value, so I'd give it a 3/5 for taste and a 5/5 for price.
Next up, I tried the Gorgonzola-stuffed Australia tenderloins and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. I couldn't really taste the Gorgonzola, but the tenderloin was cooked perfectly to a medium doneness, so it was still pretty good. I'd give it a 4/5, but it's a bit pricey for what you get.
So, would I actively recommend Robinson to my friends? Probably not. But, if someone asked me about it or if they were craving Australian-style food, I'd still give them the heads up and say it's worth checking out. The vibe is cool and the staff is friendly, so it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a treat. Just keep in mind that a meal here will run you around 150k to 200k for one person, so it's not something you do every day. I'd say it's a great spot to hit up once or twice a...
Read moreI've heard this place several times from friends who live around alam sutera. Robinson located in yukata suites commercial area, even it located in yukata, it's better you gettin' in from brooklyn, park your vehicle right in front of robinson. If you choose to prk your car in yukata, it quite 'ribet' to reach it.
They serve a cafe menu, but this time almost ramadhan so they also serve an Indonesian menu. We try soto betawi and lotong sayur, for drink we try ice selasih cincau and citrus mocktail. The food are not my type, for soto betawi, the soup is very thick and too spicy for callin' it as soto betawi, but the beef is tender and juicy. For lontong sayur, the soup also too thick, the taste is quite good, ayam goreng tastes good, lontong ok and the veggies are ok. For the beverages tastes ok.
The place is good to chit chat with your family and friends, they have indoor and outdoor area.
Food: 3/5 Service:...
