J.CO Donuts & Coffee - Pakuwon Mall — Restaurant in Surabaya

I am a customer who often shop in J.CO Reserve Pakuwon Mall, Yogyakarta. I think this place is vibrant and the bakes are worth the value, too. However, one day at 24 Dec 2023 I was bringing my mac with me looking for a place to work and I went here. Since I working several assignments, I was hoping to get a large table which has a plug. A barista named "Tito" approached me and asked "how many people I am with", I said "It's two of us". Apparently since it was only two of us, he didn't allow us to sit at that table insisting that in can only be occupied with 3 people minimum. I already told him that we often purchased a lot of bakes from this place for our family and we wouldn't mind sharing the table, too, or if we need to order more. But he still insisted we cannot sit there without expressing any apologies, so we just moved to the bar. However, we saw several customers after us who sitting there but he didn’t even bother to approach them like he did previously.

I regretted this event deeply, because if minimum payment applied, we wouldn’t have mind to purchase more, as long as the staff treat us with respect. I send this complain in the hope that J.CO's management will train the staff better hospitality. Thank you in advance.

I ate here one week ago and was very disappointed...ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it had four tiny pieces of overcooked chicken... without doubt the worst I've ever had...I'd wish I'd kept the photo now to add to this post. Today I decided to give this place one last chance.... Wow it was Christmas Day so I thought I'd grab the all day breakfast before a movie. The place wasn't busy at all and my coffee took 20 minutes to arrive (and the order was wrong). After asking three times I eventually got my order after waiting...

Very few “local” brands that I enjoy and this happens to be one of them. Consistent variety of glazier doughnuts at a very reasonable price. Some of my favourites are (not in order): don mochachinos, mr. green tea, and milosaurus. Some days you crave those with fillings some days you crave the lighter options with almonds and no fillings. They have it all. Atmosphere is very industrials but cozy? Service is good. Been to different outlets of the retails and this happens to be my favourite...
