- Recommended by my relative who has lived in Surabaya for a long time. We ordered the Garlic Steamed Fish and their new menu item: Crab with Truffle Sauce. While the Garlic Steamed Fish was so-so, nothing amazing, the Crab with Truffle Sauce was surprisingly delicious. Both the fish and crab were fresh. - The restaurant is spacious, cozy, and fancy – truly the next level of a seafood restaurant. It is highly suitable for family meals. - The staff was helpful; they provided us with an estimation of when our food would be served, allowing us to manage our expectations. - The prices for the seafood depend on the weight of the items. In my opinion, the price is reasonable, considering the taste and quality of the food, the restaurant's ambiance, and the service.

I recently visited a highly recommended restaurant in Surabaya and decided to drop in without a reservation on a Sunday. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by the grand exterior and vibrant atmosphere. The interior continued that luxurious vibe, making it feel quite upscale, which was evident as the place was nearly full. After being seated, we noticed that the staff quickly recognized we were newcomers. They kindly allowed us to explore the menu without rushing us. The menu offered a wide selection, but I must admit, the prices were on the higher side for Surabaya. We finally made our choices, ordering a prawn dish, squid, vegetables, and fried rice. I wondered if this would be too much for just two of us, but the captain reassured us that it would be fine. When the food arrived, I ranked the dishes as follows: Fried Rice, Prawn, Vegi, and lastly, the Squid. The salted egg squid, unfortunately, fell flat and was quite plain for my taste. We didn’t finish it and ended up packing it to take back to our hotel, but ultimately, we wasted it the next day. Overall, I found the restaurant to be a great spot for dinner, with a lovely ambiance, but I believe the food could use some improvements. Unless it’s a special occasion, I might explore other dining options in the area next time.

went here with my family for a lunch. a good place to go with big family to eat premium seafood. excellent ambiance, spacey and clean restaurant, love the toilet 😍 lol (see for urself). we ordered: - kepiting soka for 95k - kepiting jumbo for 333k - kerapu dewa for 288k - cumi bakar madu for 77k - kakap for 165k - patin for 120k - es puter for 45k - es campur layar for 40k - milk tea for 29k was too expensive, mid taste - jus jambu for 35k was too expensive, mid taste, could've been thicker - lychee tea for 40k was too expensive, mid taste, only got 2 lychee fruits - cleo platine for 27k was too expensive for me who just wanna drink basic water oh well there's no other choice everything was delicious other than wht i wrote, definitely will come back again.

This was a surprise, and it was one of the best dinners so far in Surabaya. Although it is a halal restaurant but the taste was superb. The interior was great, and the sitting area is spacious. The fish is super fresh. Every dish is so delicious. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, we don't get to try the cake from their own kitchen. It was sold out. It looks yummy, though. You don't have to worry they will overcharge you on the seafood because the crew will inform you the weight of your seafood before they send the seafood to the kitchen. Forget about Moi Garden Restaurant. Queuing for more than 30 minutes. That was a big disappointment.

It's one of our favorite restaurants in Surabaya. I had been having dinner in Layar several times already, but it was my first having dinner in this particular outlet on July 4, 2024. We ordered foods as seen in pictures. The shrimp and soft shell crabs were equally delicious. The vegetable was ok. The kopyor was flavorful. The ambiance is grand and bright. It looks more like a hotel than a restaurant. We came not in the weekend, but it was full and crowded, so it wasn't that convenient. The services, however, were responsive and helpful.

Kesini buat dinner sebagai penutup setelah seminggu di surabaya,. Kita pesan beberapa Menu : 1. KEPITING SAOS PADANG dan SAOS BAWANG Saos padangnya gak ada obat, rekomen banget dan ukuran kepitingnya besar, saosnya pedas manis cocok banget gak ada obat, untuk yg saos bawang mirip sama lada hitam, tp masih kalah dengan saos padangnya, juara,. 2. Kerapu Steam Ini juga enak, kuahnya maknyos, untuk saya yg kurang suka ikan laut, ini masih sangat bisa dimakan karena aroma ayg ada di ikan laut hampir gk ada,. 3. UDANG BAKAR SAOS MADU dan TELOR ASIN Wah ini sih gk ada obat juga saos madunya, luar biasa mantul pasti akan repeat order juga untuk udang bakar ini, untuk yg telor asin juga enak, tp tetap untuk udang bakar pemenangnya 4. GURAME BAKAR JIMBARAN wah ini sih bumbu jimbarannya juga joss bgt, wajib pesan juga untuk menu ini, sama sekali gak bau lumpur untuk guramenya,. Dibakarnya juga gk terlalu kering dan gak terlalu basah,. Pas banget pokoknya,. 5. KERANG DARA SAOS PADANG Nah ini bumbunya sama dengan kepiting, cuma sayangnya kerang daranya yg kecil kecil saran sih klo bisa di upgrade ukuran kerangnya yg agak lebih besar,.. pasti mantap jiwa,. Untuk minum disini ada yg pitcher bisa untum 3-4 orang untuk 1 pitcher Untuk harga ya agak sedikit mahal sih dibanding resto seafood lainnya, tp menurut saya worth it kok,. Masih sesuai dengan yang kita dapatkan,. Oiya terlampir foto sisa sisa pembantaian,. Dan yg menarik disini mejanya udah dilapis plastik jd bebas lah makan sedikit barbaar,. Hehehehe
