Ambience (5/5) I think this is the best thing from my dining experience. View is quite nice, as they have huge window overlooking the city. The place is not very spacious, but you have reasonable space to move around. I expected more decoration for the festive season, but given the limited space, well I would understand.

Food (3.5/5) Food is average. Typical hotel buffet, including Western, Indonesian and Asian delicacies. The steak is the highlight of the night, very tender and tasty. No, they do not have sashimi if you are wondering. Also, they will charge you for mineral water (ie it is not included in the price), but there are beverage selection included in the buffet such as juice, es campur and lemon tea.

Price (2/5) I went here last night for the Buy1get1 promotion. 600k for 2 people, so ~300k nett per pack. I would say price point is in the higher side, given the description above. I expected wayyy more from the stated price of 600k. However, if it is based on the promo price of 300k, I think it is an okay-ish price point. I would recommend to just put the price as 300k without any promotion gimmick.

Tldr: nice atmosphere, food is meh recently

Went a few times already. Last visit was on December 8th '23. Service and atmosphere is always awesome. Lack of drink option is insane.

Food has its up and down. Indonesian options have been consistently ok. Last yorkshire pudding was pretty dry unfortunately, either cooked for too long or have been out for a while. That being said, a lot of their supposedly hot or warm food was also cold 🥲. Especially at the very front section before the desserts, they put some tex-mex and fried items, but it was left out in the cold. Some rearranging can be done for that. Dessert quality have gone down a bit. I don't understand how their bread pudding was moved near the cheeses at the back w/ the indonesian food. Should be close to ice creams and chocolate sauces for piping hot bread pudding haha (the bread pudding was also getting cold lol). The ones that I have always consistently enjoyed are the salad options and their chicken hainan and duck.

Anw, for its price, food quality should be better maintained over time. Went to brm at shrton recently and can confidently say that they're doing it better after their revamp esp the dessert...

I'm not living in Surabaya, but was interested to try this all you can eat buffet on my visits last month after all the goods reviews I heard and read on social media. However, personally I think this ayce is overrated. I don't know if I was the unlucky one or if my timing of visit was just not right; but I can't say I enjoy my dinner at this restaurant. The food just ok, nothing too special. The taste just enough compared to some other all you can eat buffet at the same level of 5 stars hotels restaurant that I've ever tried. And the desserts was far from what I expected to taste like... I really don't know what was happen on my visit, but at that night the chocolate cake especially was not delicious at all. It's not the taste of the chocolate that 5 starts hotel will use, rather taste like a common chocolate that homemade industry used. Not expected the experience will be like this with the price offered. I'm sorry have to say this but for me it's just not my taste.
