Overated. Went for the premium (Rp 250k) to get the angus beef, only given 2 plates of the 5 i ordered and was told that the angus beef was sold out. Service was super slow, my first batch of beef only came 20-30 min after i ordered (take note that they have 1.5 hour buffet policy, so fast service is important). The staff just said sorry for the slow service and the out of stock beef. The other beef served were also not fully thawed šš¤®
Funny thing was no one told me that their stock for the premium beef almost finished before I chose that. I guess management taught the staffs to let the customers choose the premium package regardless of the stock availability. I guess management only care for customers' money lol.
1 hour later, the table beside me ordered and was served 20 plates of angus beef, the staff even asked them if they want more. Who are they? Are they VVIPs? I was only given 2 plates. When I complained to the staff, staff only then asked me if I also wanted the angus beef, but what's the point offering that when my buffet time had finished.
Both manager and servers were inattentive. Ordered croffles and chicken balls 30 mins before my buffet time finished to compensate for my lost due to the sold out angus beef, but they kept saying "bentar pak, masih disiapin" until my buffet time finished. Is this your strategy to make money? By holding people's order?
Staffs were unprofessional, kept joking around and talked loudly without wearing mask. Imagine the saliva dropped onto the meat.
Would rather go for Hai Di Lao for taste, staff professionalism, and originality. yes I said originality as they copied Hai Di Lao style to celebrate customer's bday. Save your money! For me, this is my last time...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei've tried both kintan (yakiniku) and shaburi (shabu-shabu). and i loved both! 90 minutes time limit flies so fast. recommended!
TIPS pick the "kintan buffet" packages. very satisfying shabu-shabu are very recommended too just enjoy the food, almost everything here is good. just avoid the "yakisoba" and "chawanmushi".. thank me later bring your "eating partner" whether it's your family, friend, or everybody else. It's so much enjoyable. Trust me. (or maybe you just want to be alone like idk...) i recommend not to order the chicken too much, not because it's not good but it's too troublesome and time consuming to cook it since it's not recommended to eat a not thoroughly cooked chicken
PROS unlimited beef, what not to like? good variety and quality of the other buffet item in the middle unlimited drink too soft serve ice cream are also OK very cozy and comfortable ambience for eating the service are also conidered as top notch. They serve your order extremely quickly. hygiene is very good, you can see the "butcher shop" in a big window glass to see it by yourself. So that's a big confidence on their hygiene side. That's a good sign of a good yakiniku place for me. the grilling pan are usually good and easy to adjust by yourself.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreAn all you can eat BBQ named Kintan, that has four of set selection from regular buffet, kintan buffet, premium buffet, and wagyu premium buffet with a reasonable price for each set. For some reasons I like this more than the others. Its originality shows the quality of the beef, but one with the garlic aka harumi or with pepper on it a.k.a the ribs and gyu tan, they are all awesome.
On the same place, has the same system, is Shaburi, a shabu-shabu place. Each person got a personal pot for cooking. The condiments are placed in the all you can eat area, as well as the DIY dipping sauce.
The layout is good in terms of distance between tables and for people to walk here and there. For 90 minutes eating, I think it is more than enough. Lastly, they have a good vanilla ice cream, and i pour some black coffee to get an affgato. One fair thing here, the price for kids is different. So, for protein loading, i would go here and here...
