Not for those with strict or special diet.
Not because they don't have the options, they have; just the waitress didn't really know what is IN and NOT IN the food.
TLDR: a vegan end up ordering beef and a friend who is strict on animal-protein diet end up ordering mock/vegan chicken bcs both menu & waitress was misleading.
We came in a group of 7, made reservation hoping to get the nicest spot with xmas decor but was seated in the middle of the room with dimmed lighting n no decor. No biggie, we started ordering food by scanning the QR. At the time, they have this 'new' menu that has no description so asked waitress what was inside the truffle burger and they said it was all mushrooms - quoting her "CUMA JAMUR" & we made sure by telling her that this is for a vegan who don't eat meat. so if it's all mushrooms then good, we r going to have one. The food came with beef. When we asked why the food came with beef they said that they are new and don't really know what exactly is inside that menu. Other than some apology, they didn't offer to take back the order and we had to give the food to friends who wanted to eat it.
Another friend who is on a strict protein diet ordered sesame chicken katsu salad, ended up getting a weird textured chicken, and when we reconfirmed to the waitress, it was actually Vegan chicken. No vegan word or anything that explained on the menu that it was vegan (we did read carefully before ordering, how could things be so messed up?). Upon further examination to the menu, it did use a green background and stated "healthy menu" on the back but who could have guessed? This is what was written: "New! Sesame Chicken Katsu Salad 55k. Salad, carrot, cucumber, corn, cherry tomato, katsu, tonkatsu sauce & roasted sesame dressing". How could one know 'katsu' actually meant vegan chicken katsu?
That aside, the rest of the food tasted good, ambience was so-so because it's very noisy, you could hear what everyone is talking abt as if the sound bouncing off the room/ lack of sound absorbing materials.
We were just glad we are not people with serious food allergies else we could end up in the ER during our...
Read moreTldr: great place for a meeting, group projects, catching up with friends, etc. Decent food with decent portions and varieties. Pretty good burger.
Had dinner on Tuesday night, so it was pretty quiet. There are still a couple of tables occupied though, so it's not dead. The servers don't bother or check up on you much but that makes this place a GREAT place to catch up with friends. The ambiance is nice, tables are spaced out and well-sized for group project meet-ups. They have more tables at the back, the area is separated by glass doors so it can work as a small private venue too.
Food-wise, I tried the byo poke bowl and shared their chocolate lava cake. Both were good! The poke bowl was really fresh (a big must)!! Decent portion, pretty filling, could use more sashimi, but not bad considering the low price. My friend and mother who both never had poke bowls before are obsessed.
The chocolate lava cake didn't have a melty middle, but that might be on us for leaving it to sit with the gigantic scoop of ice cream on top for about 10 mins. Otherwise, the taste was good.
A bit disappointed with my latte. I've only ever had kopi titik koma's avocado coffee drink so that might be why I had a different expectation.
UPDATE: went there 2 more times and always had a good meal. Oh and the lava cake melted perfectly! No raw batter taste to it either so pure chocolate in the middle! Pls be aware that the kitchen is on the slower side with certain meals aka ur food might come out at different times and appetizers might come out after all the mains are...
Read moreFood here is passable, pop bites is just okay, took forever to serve. Chongqing chicken takes a decade long to come through, literally after my companion finished his bowl of rice, almost finished his drink, thennnn it finally came - it was super bitter, not worth the wait. Steak don was served rather fast, not bad.
The concept of the restaurant is like Pong Me jakarta - they have a ping pong room that you can book in advance. The servers are not very knowledgeable of basic fruits and what goes in the menu, they just repeated the name of the menu as the "ingredients".
As you can see from the photo, the thai tea looked extremely "pale aka diluted"
Overall, I am rating this place 2.5/5 for food taste 3.5/5 for decor/ concept 2.5/5 for price 2.5/5...
