Tahu Campur Cak Sadak — Restaurant in Surabaya

This is one of my favorite lontong kikil spots in Surabaya! The broth is super flavorful, rich, and comforting. The lontong has the perfect firmness—not too soft, not too hard. The kikil comes in big chunks, but I usually request them to cut it smaller—especially when I bring the kids. Jadi jangan lupa request potong kecil ya, karena potongan nya gede-gede banget!

The tahu campur is also really good—definitely one of the best in Surabaya!

I came around 6 AM and it was already super crowded! There’s a line for dine-in and another for takeaway. Tapi antriannya cukup cepat kok. If you plan to eat there and take some home, you can order everything at once saat bayar.

We came at rainy night and planned for dine in. There was packed already inside and all tables are occupied. We were asked to take queue card, with number 99 on it (the biggest is 100 and then the queue will start from 1 again). The pace of queue is set buy the seller, they will call your number. When we came, it was number 90 and we waited for like half an hour. We ordered two bowls of lontong kikil (ox's tendon with sticky rice) and one plate of tahu campur. It is really tasteful tahu campur. In my opinion, it is the best in city. The broth nix with shrimp paste create a fantastic flavour. The meat combine with tendon also make the taste so clourful. While the cut size of the meat is quite big but unbelievably soft and tender. The way they cook is really amazing. Talking about the food, it is perfect. However the ambience are stuffy, hot and crowded. The queue always long and take time to be served. It is the inconvenient thing so that's no wonder so many online driver in this stall.
