Wee Nam Kee - Tunjungan Plaza 6 — Restaurant in Surabaya

One restaurant that actually offers a lot on the menu, but my choice always goes to their hainan rice.

If you eat on weekdays (Monday to Friday) you can choose the Hainanese rice set menu which is presented in full starting from Hainanese rice, chicken, vegetables and drinks. For drinks, you will get a choice of free mineral water or tea (can be iced, hot, sweet or plain).

The price is relatively expensive, but the taste and portion offered are delicious. Food serving time is also relatively fast. And most importantly my son (under 5th) loves to eat their hainan rice.

How to order : look for staff who are on duty or if conditions are quiet you can go directly to the table you want to use The staff will give you a menu book When you are ready to order, call the staff back and state your order Food will soon be served to your table after finishing enjoying your food, you can make payments in cash / non-cash at the cashier or at the table where you sit

I didn't order the rice but they gave me the fragrant Hainan rice and when I complained and asked to take it back, the lady came and complained . She said because previously I ordered a set menu and it was only for weekdays (I visited on weekends) she thought I would order rice . (I only ordered a quarter of roasted chicken, baby kailan and mineral water) .

She complained and said the order couldn't be cancelled. I'm not in the mood to argue so I told her to take that rice back because it would be wasted as I wouldn't eat it and i will still pay for it.

But that would be my last time to visit this restaurant with this bad...

We had a delightful dining experience at Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice. Our group of five was warmly welcomed, and the service throughout was attentive and friendly. The Hainanese chicken rice was excellent—perfectly tender chicken paired with fragrant rice and flavorful sauces. We also tried several side dishes, all of which were fresh and well-prepared.
