Yoshinoya Japan is always clean, fast and efficient service, friendly and tasty. Yoshinoya in Surabaya is..... Walked in to tables piled with trays and not wiped or clean. High chairs and prams blocking walkways. Counter service was good, efficient and friendly. Food was below average for true Yoshinoya standards! Tried the Yakiniku beef and it was slightly sweet, and heavy handed on the sauce. Not much onion. The rice was crunchy with partially cooked pieces. Prawn cutlet was overly battered and lacked flavor. Crispy chicken was also overly battered but at least the chicken wasn't dry. Took a tiny taste of the chocolate pudding and almost threw up. DON'T EAT IT!!! It was disgusting and way below Yoshinoya standards. Drinks were syrupy and over sweet. All in all a bitter disappointment after...
