Okinawa sushi pakuwon mall — Restaurant in Surabaya

The japanese restaurant in Surabaya opened up in Pakuwon mall Surabaya in the 2022. Finally something to look for other than sushi tei in this mall. They have a lot of variey of goods you can try (the menu book is huge, thick, and heavy 😁). There are lots of selection of sushi, hand roll sushi. The beef selections are worth to try. The salmon skin fried is more expensive than sushi tei, but you get a very thick and is more worthy than sushi tei. Overall the price is a more expensive than sushi tie, but it gives a whole new level of experience, and taste wise this restaurant is better than sushi tei under my experience. The interior decoration is very nice. The waiters and service are very good. They offer me to change seat if we want to be served by the robot server, and i think because we had this dinner with our kids. Ohhh, they have kids menu, too.. and my kids love it. The downside of this restaurant is that they do not have private room like the one in sushi tei. You can see people walk back and forth...

We are attracted by its bright lighting and decor. It does not even have check in location on FB or IG. It is new and we decided to give it a try.

Many people are fascinated by its robot to deliver the food, but for this small place, it still needs waiters or waitresses to put the plates on your table. I don’t feel too much benefit of the robot, but it does attract attention and discussions for sure.

The menu is a headache actually, so my options and such a big thick book, on top of that, there is a new menu for new items. Menus are well designed, but they start to break at the bottom as people flip over and over again to decide which one to order. I have the same problems as well.

Service is good, food is on the pricey side. Other than that, everything else is good. Wasabi is in the table instead of asking again and again from servicing personnel.
