This place is very nice, the food is great. not to hard to find because it is place on the side of the road. Opens at 2am not a minute faster, the food start around $2 - $5 depending on what you choose. Come at 1.30am because the queue is quite long (8-10 people).
The food is very mild and very good, even if you're not used to spicy Indonesian food. It's sweet so for the sweet food lover I'm sure you're gonna love it, try the tofu it so soft and good, the shredded chicken is also good, oh yeah the "ceker ayam" come in portion of 10pcs and enough for 2 person. The busker is good, if you tip them $0.5 you can asked them to sing popular Indonesian song but with a Javanese style, you will not be disappointed :).
Like I said the food is SWEET, for those of you who do not like sweet food consider this a warning. The default drink is sweet warm tea, if you want the plain ice tea you have to tell the waiter beforehand. They mixed they smoking and non-smoking. If you want to avoid smoker, choose the front seat.
Overall the meal is very good, the price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly, you just have to ask them if you don't...

It also a quick-bite kind of place, you can't hang around long because...
Read moreIn a humble place, this gudeg is somewhat underrated for tourist outside Solo, but is really delicious. For those who don't really like "ceker" (the chicken feet), but once you try it out here, you'll ask for more. It's so soft that you can also chew the bones, far from the word "disgusting". But if you're still stubborn and don't want to try one, you can go and ask for other side dishes, like tofu, boiled egg, shredded chicken, etc. You cam request to get your dish spicy or not. I heard this place is open for 24h. So make sure you open your eyes wide to spot this humble place and...
