Red Roof Steakhouse — Restaurant in Tangerang

Was supposed to have family lunch at a chinese restaurant in the area, but somehow it was close for reasons unknown. My sis then suggested hey why not try this new steakhouse, so we did. And it was a good decision too!!

Started with the Arancini and it was crunchy, heartwarming and truffly, preparing us for the main event to come.

Steak for me is either hit or miss. It’s a dish that is actually simple to make but to make it stand out really requires an experienced Chef helming the kitchen. So ordered Zabuton because always fancy a chance to taste MB9 wagyu, and boy it really hits all the right spots.

Temperature was perfect! And a good indicator of an excellent steak is that you just eat it as it is, or with a pinch of salt. It delivers, period. My wife ordered the sirloin and that too was great, 4 thumbs up! 👍

The sides were also excellent. The fries is the fat variety and it is done just nice, crunchy and fluffy as it should be. The mashed potato was creamy and buttery. The vegetables is ok, but wished it could be more “upgraded” as it is very generic. Maybe creamed corn / spinach would be an idea?

Service was ok as well, although there was an incident with a very nervous waiter spilling a full glass of ice tea on my sister 😅. Maybe further training would help elevate this 🙏

Red Roof Steakhouse is a fantastic addition to the Alam Sutera area! Finally, a steakhouse that truly delivers on quality and taste. Owned by a talented chef couple, you can see the passion they put into curating their menu.

We started with the Arancini, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully cheesy on the inside—a great way to kick off the meal. For the main course, we tried the specials of the week: the Zabuton steak, which was rich, fatty, and full of flavor, and the Picanha, a leaner yet juicy cut - medium rare tasted awesome!

Beyond the steaks, even the side dishes stood out. Their fries were impressively crispy, well-seasoned, and a perfect complement to the meal. With such well-executed dishes, it’s clear that Red Roof Steakhouse is dedicated to providing an elevated dining experience without an exorbitant price tag.

Overall, this place is a rising star in Alam Sutera’s steakhouse scene. The combination of top-notch food, reasonable pricing, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for steak lovers.

We came here on weekdays turns out it was only two of us celebrating our wedding anniversary, so we intended to find some specialty food that we never tried before. And so blessed that we found the exact place to celebrate in. We were suggest to order the specialty that day, and we ordered MB 7 steak, burger, and arancini. And we enjoyed it so much! The taste was just delicious and on point, the steak was juicy and melted since we order the better grade of meat. The meat burger was tender and very well-seasoning and I personally loved the fries cutting! The arancini was crunchy outside and melted inside, for people who love the smell of truffle oil you have to try it! After all it was worth try experience! The service was good since only two of us there, so the staff was very helpful to get everything we need. If I may suggest to add on some mushroom soup or any soup menu, hehehe. Definitely...
