I have been a loyal customer since more than 2 years ago. It's one my top 3 restaurants in Tangerang. This place was once named Magal and now it's rebranded to Jeju Don. Some food from old menu are still there, but they added some new ones like the kimbab and more varieties of meat. The side dishes are still the same and my favorite is the 'pickled' seaweed (not sure what's the name). I choose this place over the other Magal because of that seaweed and the free scrambled egg 😁. This is a favourite date place for me & husband. We go here to celebrate things or to feel better. Friendly staff, great teamwork, delicious food. The manager is proactive & energetic. I was once trying to get a staff to grill my garlic. Just by seeing my gesture, she understood my needs, came to my table and proceed to help me. It's amazing how everytime I go there I can always get a bit of her service, be it just her putting the tea bottle in our table, clearing up some plates, thanking us after paying, etc. I can see how well she managed the restaurant despite of her being a (seemingly) native...
Read moreVisited Jeju Don Korean BBQ House Alam Sutera located in Saumata Apartment building for lunch. They're kinda packed during lunch, however i'm kinda lucky to arrive before the queuing started. In this visit, I ordered Jjang Myeon 짜장면 (pan fried pork in black-bean sauce poured over Korean noodle) and 2 menus of pork meat which are Depe Samgyupsal 대패삼겹살 (thin sliced pork belly with roasted kimchi, 150gr) and Yangnyumgalmaegi 양념갈매기 (marinated pork skirt meat, 150gr). In my opinion, their Jjang Myeon is pretty nice however the noodle they're using is not typically yellow noodle, but kinda big like udon. Still, it's pretty nice in my opinion. Their Depe Samgyupsal is also good, but better to be enjoyed while hot, since it's kinda too oily after cooled. And totally recommended their Yangnyumgalmaegi for you guys to try, since it's sweet, savory and nicely seasoned. For this visit to Jeju Don Alam Sutera for lunch, i'm gonna rate them 5 out of 5. Read moreMy favorite Korean BBQ located at Saumata Apartment. Limited parking space available in front of the restaurant, but they also provide more parking space at the field next to the apartment. The pork skirt meat is so tender, and also love the egg. When you order the main dish, you'll get free side dish and also free cold ocha in a nice stainless steel jar. Loved the side dishes (banchan): fresh lettuce to wrap the meat Veggie Salad (with yummy sweet nutty sauce) Corn salad Kimchi Seaweed (miyeok) Omelette Bean sprouts (Kongnamul Muchim)
Usually I never took the rice because the side dish it self is enough to make you full. The waiter will cook the meat for you, and you can ask for more side dish. After you finish they will offer you complimentary fresh watermelon and coffee or rice and ginger drink. The ambience is really nice and cozy, the service also good, but at peak time you need to wait to...
