Congo Gallery & Cafe — Restaurant in West Java

The restaurant is very pretty and cozy, love the rustic and industrial ambiance. Lots of picturesque spots to take photos and selfies. But that's it. The menu varies, ranging from Indonesian menu to western cuisine. But tbh the price doesn't worth the taste at all. Bought carbonara pasta and chocolate cake and the taste was way below my expectations. It's very bland. They don't even add oregano or italian seasoning in the pasta! Idk how to describe it, but it surely was bland and tasteless. The chocolate cake was so-so, nothing special. One thing that I dislike so much is the service. It took AGES for the dishes to come out. Yes, i know it's peak season, but the restaurant should've prepared for the rush by adding more kitchen staffs or server. One of my family member even canceled their order because it didn't came out for over 1 hour! Tbh i don't even feel hungry anymore when my food is finally served, and after tasting it, added more grains to my list of disappointment. Do better, Congo. Taste : Average the rice in mozaru chikin was tasteless ( add butter ? ) Please do some work on the potato shape ( Redling Steak ) - the looks wasn't appetizing The fish smell in the Fish & Fries was too tangy

Price : A bit too steep but it's Ok

Been here around four times already, and the place never failed me. The food are delicious, the ambience is superb, the service is warm. The indoor is just perfect for friends or family time, the outdoor is also fun because they have a mini playground, so the children can play while waiting for the meal. They also have private space, suitable for business meetings (rsvp and minimum expenses applied). They open during the pandemic with health protocol. The only minor for me is that they don't have nursing room. I had to leave early to change my baby's diaper. Hopefully they would consider to...
