Fish Bones Warung — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I love this place! You have to try the whole grilled fish which is the culinary highlight here. Fresh fish, great varieties you can choose from. we were recommended with the parrot fish (blue one) coz the flesh is soft, juicy and almost no bones, and this was definitely the right choice. The grilled fish comes with 2 full plates of vegetables: fried water spinach + Soya sprouts and green beans + 3 different sauces + rice. Even after eating the whole day and not that Hungary at all, we still enjoyed it a lot and almost finished everything. The people highlight are definitely the girls/sisters who are running this family business: they are friendly, attentive, but not too much “only for the tourists” - you can see these attractive confident lively women enjoy their lives and running the business together, all very authentic. They were peeling and eating some young mangoes with local soya- chili sauce…I was so curious so I just went over to ask what they are eating and they warmly shared the mangoes with me :) so nice to experience and have a part of their lives. I Just went to this restaurant thinking eat simple meal, and it was not much on the menu but they said go to the entry if you want to order some fish, I just did , I selected my fish and they didn't tell me much , so I went to my table later and even I ordered some frenchs fries to have it with the fish later I found out the fish comes with rice , I finished my meal and went to pay and found out the fish was 250.000 rupies , I asked some discount because didn't know the price, the lady just got upset and I payed the bill. I think they should have the information of the cost of the fish and things they have on the front because I'm sure I'm not the only one who has found out that the plate qe bought it was this expensive. I won't go back to this...

Me and my friends when for dinner and it was dissapointing. Frist of all we ordered fish and it was not fresh and not grilled well. We had to leave this fish and eat the side dishes and rice because we were very hungry :/ fish had a funy smell and was very hard to chew. I had never ever had such a band fish in my life. They also charged 22 EUR per fish which is far too expensive for the old fish they are seling. It is very sad because i visited few years ago this place and now it became a huge dissapoitment :/ the owners should do something about their food or they will use all the custumers bauce other customers complained about the fish and the staff just smiled :/ there are plenty of better fish...
