This used to be our favorite spot in Kuta Lombok, I gave it 5 stars last time!Unfortunately not anymore by a long shot! They used to have real good textile napkins instead of paper! Not anymore... I had the fish pocket and it's was really really disappointing! The batter was thick, the fish bland, it was put together with no effort at all, the fish was out of the pocket and inside only uncooked salads! Plus I got a bonus, a hair in my ketchup sauce! Used to be really tasty... not anymore! The staff just hang out in the corner laughing of customers or what ever in Indonesian not engaging at all, and worst of all one of the female waiters was touching her feet and then brought the plates to the table 🫣 never saw her wash her hands! Used to be a really friendly staff that cater to your every need... not anymore! Honestly beside the guy from the till that is ALWAYS extremely friendly, super kind and funny with the customers, there was not a single positive thing to say about this year's meal! Prices not competitive for the lack of quality. We went there loads last year... This year went once and didn't any more... Probably won't after this since there's available competition getting...
Read moreNice place, and the service is super friendly! We had the pumpkin green curry and the Caesar salad and 2 drinks, and we paid around 300 000 IDR. The curry was very good: tasteful, lots of flavours, big chunks of pumpkin and of onions, and some greens (spinach?). The salad was a bit disappointing, very dry as it’s 85% chicken, 10% bread croutons and 5% salad. It felt more like a chicken breast cut in small than like a salad, the ingredients were not really blending together. For 90k it is also not cheap (although the portion is HUGE). I would recommend removing half the chicken off the salad and replacing it with more vegetables, in order to have a bit more diversity of tastes in the dish. The ginger turmeric drink was very nice. I like that they offer several vegetarian options, and that the straws in the drinks...
Read moreWe ate here a few days ago, I thought I'd try the spagbol. I'm so glad I did. Bolognese has always been a staple dish of mine to cook and this reminded me so much of home. After a long day getting beaten up surfing I needed carbs and comfort and this hit on both accounts, it was great. My girlfriend and I decided to head back here for our last night in Lombok. I went with the pesto pasta, because again, a staple home dish. And OH MY GOD it was good! The only bad part about it was I had to finish it at some point. The food was some of the best in the area. The staff are amazing, really friendly, always up for a good chat and I can't big them up enough. I'll be heading back in November for the...
