Pandan Warung — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I was strolling around the beach and my eyes caught this catchy day bed with shades made out of plants and turned out belongs to Warung Pandan. My friend and I ordered grilled chicken & chicken curry and it was very tasty!! Bu Yanti as the owner also give us fruit platter as compliment.

We spent almost 3 hours there and had a nice convo with Bu Yanti and her husband. She used to live in Jakarta but then married to Lombok man. It has been 9 years she’s living in Lombok.

This is the place to go if u are visiting the Tanjung Aan Beach ! It is a super lovely place with the best people i have ever met. We are coming there since almost 3 month everyday for surfing, enjoying the good food and the fresh coconuts. One night we were fishing and the owners were preparing a super delicious local meal with our grilled fish. Unfortunately I ordered just a banana milkshake which came with crushed ice. It also did not taste like banana at all. I have food poisoning now an hour or two later and this is all I've had today. Maybe it was the milk or ice but the drink did have a weird foamy, stringy texture.
