Eating at 5pm didn't obviously give me the right vision of the regular atmosphere as i was the only client. Setting seems ok, probably prettier at night with some lights on. Tables could be decorated with flowers at least, they were dusty and no cushions.
+++Waiters were all very friendly - english was spoken as well and I was told some recommendations.
---But what amazes me, again here the waiters disappeared, they never asked If i wanted something else or if I was happy with everything. I had to go to desk to ask another drink and go finally pay there too, after a while I was waiting with dirty dishes in front of me at the table. Attentiveness was missing! Please fix that, customers will be more happy.
--- I didn't like too much the taste of their food but its a personal opinion. Dry, hard white rice, no decoration neither fried shallots / garlic on top of rice. The fried tempeh was not crispy neither had any flavour in it and it was served with ready made sweet chili sauce.
+++Rendang though had nice curry-type of flavour and beef in it was very tender.
Overall, its probably hit or miss but i won't return. Mostly for unantentiveness...
Read moreI'm indonesian, was order gado-gado but they gimme weird gado-gado. I was ask the staff many times and they said it was gado-gado. But it's not real gado-gado. I didn't want to be mean person but if they didn't have it just told me and i can order another food. I told them to check google how real gado-gado looks like. Please don't have to change real gado-gado like this. Make it authentic as our real gado-gado. I make this review so you can know if what they serve in here not thats real gado-gado in indonesia. Please thats not gado-gado looks like. It's fake tho
Staff and all of this resto was so aggressive & angry to me because they believe what they serve was gado-gado with modification as their style. They refuse me to pay it. Cashier was even make opinion about how different my style with her which is there is nothing related about what i'm complained about. I put picture of gado-gado whit many different of it but as indonesian i still can say if it's gado-gado.

Read moreBottom line: great visit with a bit of misunderstanding at first, but rapidly resolved. Intimate setting.
Gluten line: with the help of a semi English speaking server and our Indonesian gluten free cards, all was well.
Long line: we walked by and noted that it looked really pretty inside. We were seated in the back and enjoyed the romantic setting. We were given a small pouch of lotion with mosquito repellant which was nice. The menu was easy to understand and our server made every attempt to make our dinner special. No imported alcohol which was a bit worrisome, cause we've heard issue with methanol contamination in Lombok, but they looked like a reputable business and we had no issues. The first dish came out CRAZY salty, a issue we had already had come across in Indonesia as they use a lot more salt in their cuisine than in the US. We alerted our servers and they quickly remediated the situation. Overall they were exceptional and attentive. I'd...
