Was there around 9 am on a Monday morning with my young daughter. A handful of other people in the cafe at the time and no one queueing at the till. Barista got our order wrong 2 times - cafe latte instead of chai latte and coconut milk instead of soymilk (they had soy milk). Very hectic vibe and no apologies were given. When we sat down, there was plenty of dirty dishes everywhere, rap music (with swear words) blasting through the coffee shops and toilets were smelling of urine and uncleaned with cleaning supplies scattered around. Read moreI popped into Costa the staff were lovely and attentive but the place is very “tired” and run down, it is in need of painting and furniture update throughout as there are stains etc. I have to say the bathrooms were very bad, there is a lot of damp and mould and there was excrement on the wall.

Read moreThis is the usual Costa Coffee layout and franchise format. Saying that however, the staff are very good and pay attention to detail. In particular, one young lady with dark hair (an Irish girl I think), was meticulous with the temperature of the latte , using a thermometer to make it just right. So if you want a well made latte and careful attention to detail with your coffee it is a good place to go.
