Moments Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in County Longford

We were in Longford for the Farrell Clan Rally July 19-24, 2022. This place was recommended by one of the Farrell Rally organizers. We had sampled some of their bakery items earlier in the week at another Farrell event outside of the city. We stopped here for brunch/lunch on Sat 23-07-2022 at 12:00pm. Very busy place with indoor diners and quite a few takeaways. We had time so we placed our orders at the counter, were given a number, and we found a table by the front window. We ordered a breakfast bagel (E8.40), small breakfast (E8.), and a drink was included w/ the meal. We understand busy but the there wasn't enough staff or just new staffers. 35 minutes was a bit too long a wait. There was also a mistake on each breakfast - one an omission and the other incorrect meat item. It would have been to long a wait to send them back to the kitchen. As we were in town just for the Farrell Clan Rally there wasn't an opportunity to try this place a 2nd time. We hope you have resolved your issues before our next visit. So I popped in for lunch with my better half I got the carbinara and my partner got the fish and wedgs. We waited like 25 mins unfortunately I wish the wait was the issue but no its the food. The fish was cooked from frozen it was truly awful. And the pasta carbanara was un eatable. A shame cause u read up tge reviews and they just don't match the experience. Also on reading the reviews I was actually not going to go as the owner or who ever is over this seams to giving smart arse replys to honest reviews which to me shows the level of respect they don't have for paying customers and the issues with the lack of quality...

After reading the hype on the Google, I decided to try the restaurant. Was very disappointed from start to end. Staff pretty average, not overly welcoming like other restaurants. Food was not exciting. Ordered the Philly steak wrap. Steak was streaky - poor quality - cheap minute steaks, garlic sauce was store bought, had about 5 potato wedges, which looked less compared to others who had chips. Should have bought some fillet steaks from Aldi and prepared a much better...
