Supermac's & Papa John's Ballina — Restaurant in County Mayo

Disappointing for a supermacs. I know some supermacs are in old buildings but still certain things can be done to improve the experience, The toilets were very very poor, badly cracked urinals, cracked floor tiles and wall tiles and toilet paper thrown around the floor in cubicles, I didn't see the clean sheet so I don't know how long stuff was thrown around the floor waiting for a cleaner to come. The food I always order the same thing in all supermacs to compare portion sizes, quality and charges and it size and charge was on par with other supermacs but the quality was not the same, looked like to me the oil needed changing even though it was only 7pm as there was a lot of black burnt looking particles on the fries, chicken was fine but not exactly fresh but still edible. No interaction from the staff really but that wouldn't put me off but the quality of the food would. Based in the heart of the Ballina shopping district, this Irish owned fast food restaurant is part of a national chain. Expect to wait for your order. This is no McDonalds. The food does taste fresh, including the fried chicken 'snack box' meal. Classed as one of Ireland's favourites, after a feed of drink from the local pub, this is still the grub of choice. Select from a choice of burgers, pizza and chicken meals to go or eat in. You can even order a fish and chip dinner on a proper plate with a metal knife and fork!! Was in Yesterday evening. The Taco Chips are absolute heaven, not to spicy and oozing with flavour, absolutely delicious. Ordered a Chicken Fillet burger as well with it, but it was like cardboard and overcooked and had no taste, so I asked one of the staff and she went up and told them, and asked me to go up, and fair play to the girl behind the counter, she apologised and asked me if I wanted another one, and I decided to go for the 5oz cheese beef burger without gherkins and it was gorgeous.
