Craft Bistro — Restaurant in County Westmeath

Entered yesterday to a sign inside door that says “wait here to be seated” So I waited….. and waited. Staff behind counter having a great chat looked up and seen me, decided to ignore me and continued their chat. so I eventually said excuse me can I seat myself? To which they waved me on. If staff aren’t going to seat people as the sign clearly states instead of having people standing like idiots in the door waiting maybe the manager should remove sign and allow people to enter and find a seat themselves. And it happened to other customers who entered after me. I sat and watched other customers been left standing at sign and ignored the same way. Anyways I tried to put this rudeness behind me until the food came out cold. .stone cold!! Couldn’t have Been freshly cooked. It held no heat. Won’t be hear again. Bad customer service. Banging sandwich. Like truly class, was full all day.

10% off if your a student, but sandwich is €11.50 (club sandwich) base price, so you do the maths. Huge tho, and well worth the cash. Triple decker, and they did not skimp on the chicken and the bacon.

Great for if you’re hanging in the morning, or preparing to be hanging the next day. Also just tasted top class as well.

Served very quickly, staff were friendly and no wait to be seated. Was pretty busy but place is big wi plenty seating.

Such a lovely bistro. From the moment we went in we felt so relaxed and welcome. One staff member in particular saw me coming with the pram and immediately opened it to help me out (so rare) he took our orders and kept on top of the plates etc building up and was making sure everything was just perfect. I dont know many places that do that. I was pleasantly surprised in there by the food staff and the little playroom that my boy loved and it kept him entertained while we waited on our foods. I would definitely recommend...
