Eddie Rocket's — Restaurant in County Westmeath

Went in here to eat last Saturday only to be faced with another price increase, €19 for a burger, fries and drink, come on Eddie Rockets that's robbery, you're a fast food restaurant! Opted for the family meal at €39 (another whopper of a price increase). Food took a while but that's ok. Burgers were good but fries were hit and miss, some burnt and some were visibly black/rotten. I think food quality standards have slipped somewhat.

The last time I was in here I ordered a Ferrero Rocher milkshake, it didn't taste anything like FR so I asked the waiter if they forgot to put in the FR, there wasn't even one on top. I was told they've never put FERRERO ROCHER into the FERRERO ROCHER milkshake, they use NUTELLA, seriously, this has got to be a joke, the price has increased to €6.45 for a deluxe milkshake and you don't even get what you ask for. Needless to say I did not order an extortionately priced milkshake this time round.

On the plus side, the staff are so lovely here, friendly, efficient and professional. They really go out of their way to make it a good experience. The girl who served us (unfortunately didn't catch her name) was very kind to my son and gave him a goodie bag when we were leaving, he was delighted. I had asked when she took our order if they had toys in stock for the kids meals as they never seem to have them and then I have a disappointed child (not to mention I'm sure I've already paid for them in the price of the kids meal) and she said she'd check out the back. True to her word she did check and we left with a happy child.

Unfortunately due to the price increases and standard of food we won't be back anytime soon.

I had a very disappointing experience with my recent order from Eddie Rockets. Upon delivery, I attempted to pay with a €50 note, only to be told by the delivery driver—who spoke very limited English—that he doesn’t give change. When I asked to pay by card instead, I was refused.

The situation escalated unnecessarily when the driver involved his manager, who called me directly. Rather than handling the matter professionally, the manager was condescending and dismissive, laughing during the call and implying that I should have read the menu more carefully. I felt belittled and disrespected, especially as a paying customer who was simply trying to resolve a payment issue in good faith.

Due to the poor communication, unprofessional attitude, and complete lack of customer service, I refused the food and ended the interaction. I won’t be ordering again and would caution others to consider how they might be treated if an issue arises.

Met my twin brother ( from the West, I'm in the East ) in Mullingar for our birthday He's obsessed with ER Staff are friendly, we got a warm welcome as we arrived with zero wait to be noticed place was nice and clean as was the WC

We've both been in quite a few and asked for extra shake on the fries which is done at the grill Asked the waitress for extra shake, and down arrives a shakers !
