Eddie Rocket's — Restaurant in County Westmeath

Walk ins for take away order taken and served before us literally waiting 10 minutes with menus down on the table waiting for our order to be taken.

Starter empty bowls sitting on table when main came no one removed them from the table.

Chicken Tenders were completely different from what we used to eat from Eddie Rockets and I asked did they change them and was told no. They were awful more like batter than Crispy Chicken Tenders.

My husband’s Classic burger had only lettuce on it nothing else but we didn’t ask for anything to be removed from it.

Chips cold and bowls half full.

When asked was everything okay when I paid I said no have you changed your a tenders she said no and call out to me to put in my pin, no tip given and we just left.

We were all in the mood for some good burgers, so brought my wife, 2 kids and nephew to Eddie's in Athlone. The family's meals were good. Mac n Chees was amazing! Classic burger just spot on loved the pickles. Chips where lovely n fresh. Milkshakes brilliant! Service and setting good! While my family ate I waited a few extra minutes for my double cheese bacon burger. Which can happen, however the wait would have been worth it of the burger was good. Way over fried the bottom burger pattie, was more like a smash burger crispy and filled with oil , I mean the oil was dripping onto the plate. Tasteless and unfortunately not a good experience for me. Was our first time in and honestly don't mind paying the prices if the food turns out good. We go to this location every second week but not after today . It’s ok that there was a mess up on the food but it should have been fixed . I got the smokestack and it was beyond burnt and rock hard . I had to go to the bathroom and spit out the bite I took as it wasn’t even chewable . So the waitress came and I told her she just said sorry and walked off . I assumed to fix the issue but no. So then I went to pay and said can I speak to a manager . I was told there was none .
