It was our first day in Ireland and we were looking forward to some good fish and chips after a car ride. Hard to find with a dog. then we found this local. We were asked to sit outside with the dog - we did. We were offered a place.
we sat down and then the problems started. The table and the floor were full of green sticky liquid, garbage on the floor and table. We sat down on the next table in disgust. The next table was also slightly sticky with the same stuff - and the floor was generally very dirty. Clean the table or put away the trash? That would probably be asking too much.
We still ordered because it's difficult to get a dog in Ireland. We both ordered fish and chips. The fish and chips were the worst we've ever eaten. completely greasy and the dough was still completely doughy and not baked through at all and way too thick! The chips were unsalted - there was no salt at the table - the peas were also tasteless. We would never go to this restaurant again!
You probably don't know about cleaning, terrible memory of this...

The staff were friendly & efficient though operating under pressure in exceptional circumstances. We ate food here served in snack boxes , which was good. Both food & drink prices were far too high but one could say that about all...

Also got really friendly and helpful service from the bartender - wish we would have gotten his name. Definitely will try a full meal there when we next return...
