Went there on a weekend evening for a good iced coffee to enjoy in the summer. Placed our order and paid, didn’t get receipt and the staff were working away and we waited for our frappe to be made. The upstairs section was shut, so we found a place on the ground floor itself and waited for too long. After enquiring about our order which was only one medium Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frappe, the staff told us they’ve made a white chocolate something coffee.. which we hadn’t ordered at all. Since we didn’t have the receipt we couldn’t show it. The staff then took time to make our coffee and then after a wait of good 10-15 mins, we got our order. The only slight downside might be the lack of lifts or wheelchair access to the upstairs but the ground area is sufficiently large...
Read moreI was directed to a display of pre packed goods this morning when I asked if they served gluten free food. I selected and paid for a small pack of biscuits on the display along with a coffee. Unfortunately the biscuits were not gluten free. I brought it to the attention of the manager when I discovered the error. But I had already taken a bite of the biscuit. The young server agreed that he directed me to the entire display and not just the bottom row. I have coeliac disease so this is a very serious matter. I had to leave immediately and return home for fear of my reaction to consuming gluten. Staff MUST be trained properly to avoid...
