Really dirty, not just "we're busy" dirty but close the place for a deep clean, paint job and fix the ripped seats job. Service was friendly but maybe it's the embarrassment of taking people money for what's served. My cheese please at a few cent shy of 12€ was honestly was highway robbery, gone was the juicy patty so large the paper wrapper was needed to contain it's might.... I actually thought they'd forgotten the burger as it was so tiny it was completely hidden under the 1 small slice of "cheddar", less burger more meatball. I instantly regretted asking for no tomato as the burger was pretty lacking everywhere else. The OH had the "red basket special" and it was far from special with 2 cut up tenders and a handful of chips making up the "spice bag". Last point, the toilets are shocking grubby, lick of paint and a mop desperately needed. I won't be back anytime soon, if I'm going to "go to Ed's" I'll try Dundrum instead. If the owner / manager reads these things, do yourself a favour, close for a month, give the place a scrub and a face-liftand sort your menu, I'd be embarrassed if I actually thought this...

The kids took one look and were immediately turned off. My partner and I were a bit more adventurous but should have heeded the little ones' wisdom. Regardless, I was well satisfied and sated after polishing off my good sized M50, and the shake was just too much extra for me. We'll likely go again, because it was overall good, but I've no burning desire to return so it'll likely be a while, and a night when no other option...

Manager on duty don't know his name an Irish man who has been there years, excellent with kids, adults and very polite and respectful of colleagues.
Manager was very kind even making sure to organize seats to accommodate guests who were seated near us that needed a bit more quiet due neurodivergence needs.
He also ensured to let the guests in the party that had these needs know he remembered them by welcoming them back which you could tell they really appreciated and put...
