Terrible Experience – Missing Items, Poor Quality, and Unhelpful Service

The last two times I have ordered delivery from Supermac's & Papa John's in Blackrock, both times the experience has been extremely disappointing. The quality of the food has fallen off a cliff. On this latest order, a whole 14-inch pizza was missing from our delivery. When we called the restaurant immediately, the person in charge refused to replace the missing pizza so we could all have dinner together and instead told us to complain to the delivery company. They even suggested that the JustEat delivery driver might have taken the pizza, which IMHO is absurd given the delivery was only 10 minutes from pickup. And the staff made no effort to check if the pizza was sent out with the order? You would know if you sent a pizza out 10 minutes ago???

The food itself used to be good, but was awful. The chicken coating was like biting tarmac, especially at the ends, and the chips were now cold after our delivery time had been changed 3 times, and very soggy. After paying over €50 for a quick takeaway meal on a Saturday evening, I would expected much better from what used to be a reputable establishment for a takeaway. Missing a whole pizza is completely unacceptable!

I have a video of our delivery before last, which has two bun heels on the same burger, a "sprinkle" of lettuce and a "a threat" of burger sauce. That's one of the reasons we ordered an extra burger sauce, which was paid for, but missing from the last order!

Customer service on this issue was completely unhelpful and dismissive. Do not bother replying asking me to email or contact elsewhere — go to your restaurant and see for yourself what customers are experiencing.

A once good takeaway brand is now truly awful in terms of food quality and customer service. If I could give zero stars I would, I will definitely not...

DISGUSTING GONE OFF TACO MEAT.. went in at 3pm no chicken i asked have you some on was told no with a blank look on his face i asked how long he said 20 minuits...i was on phone as i was ment to get 5 chicken boxs for roughly 5 minuits both staff still stood at till no effort made to attempt to put chicken on..i again asked are you putting chicken on he said machine has to be cleaned out in a rude tone. I said so no chicken then in 20 minuits he snapped back ill cook it in normal fryer????? I work in a chipper and this is not how you cook fried chicken. No clue have the staff in there got. I just grabbed a taco fry while i was to drive else where to buy chicken boxs along with other items of food i was going to buy in there. Got into my car and took one bite out of the taco fries and spit it out dirty gone rotton taco mince that smelt like vinegar Apauling shop would never go back or reconmend it. Judgeing by previous reviews i just read yous will end up seriousley making someone very ill. SORT OUT THIS FRANCHISE ASAP!!! Also will be reporting the taco meat to health and saftey now before yous end up killing someone from food...

Absolutely disgusting my child and I got sick from it,the staff have changed and are unfriendly, since I was in it before, We sat in my little one had a pizza and I had a lunch box the fried chicken tasted disgusting I had to throw the majority in the bin after a bite,and just as well I did or my symtoms could be alot worse .when we were leaving I seen that one of the staff did not change his gloves or wash his hands after handling money ,then he went into the serving area working with food and still didnt change his gloves ,we got the parasite giadias from the food,if I seen what I seen beforehand I would have walked out with my child and went elsewhere, I hate leaving negative reviews,the only thing is I would not feel right not warning people to look out for themselves as I would not want anyone to get any form of food poisoning. If it was possible I would give this place...
