Gaillot et Gray — Restaurant in Dublin

It is not the Neapolitan pizza, the base is thin and crispy, and they use emmental cheese on the top, it is also quite large and price are ok. I am really disappointed because it was one of my favourite place, but i think that the management has changed, and the pizza is completely different. I went there last night, the quality of the emmental was not really good, the oven was so dirty that at the end my hands were black, and pizza dough was not properly raised, and after it was very difficult to digest. The staff was to be very welcoming but last night there was just one arrogant guy taking the orders, the girls saved the quality of the overall services. Always cycled past this place each day and thought it looked v fancy. But inside it's a humble and authentic pizza place. Basic options done well. Inexpensive for what you get, compared with Dublin prices these days.

Whole pizza had a mad amount of Emmental on it, which was good, but I do wonder if my stomach will agree later. Emmental pizzas certainly do change the flavour of things slightly and made the chilli&chorizo one a little bland for my liking. The pepper one and the mushroom&olive one were lovely and the garlic dip was sublime.

Came here for a bite to eat with my partner as we were in the area, asked the waiter seating us if we could sit at the low tables, as there were two free and they had back support, the waiter informed us the table was reserved and directed us towards stools at the window, a few moments later another couple arrived to be seated that did not have a reservation either but were seated at the table we had asked politely could we sit at.. food was very bland, especially the tomato base on the pizza.
