Used to eat here a lot (4 years ago) hands down was the best biryani and lamb karhai you could get your hands on.
Visited again today with a group and my experience was horrible...
I Ordered the "2 person meat platter" if you want to call it that, I wouldn't even feed it to my 12 year old son. It was the size of the small plates you keep in your house, so tiny, and it was missing a peice of meat too. I asked the server prior how big it was and if it was small and he just avoided my question, I should have known better.
Plus our Naan bread was charcoal black on one side, I went to the manager to change it and I got the dirtiest look of my life, sorry you have to do your job pal...
Also my friend was overcharged for no good reason. The server said there will be a €2 service charge and charged him €5.45 instead (his meal was only supposed to be €15 so that was just ridiculous. Also he served him a can of coke with no glass or ice, this is supposed to be a restaurant!
Ontop of everything the food and the meat was such bad quality you can tell it was the cheapest meat you could get your hands on also the portions were just so small.
The worst part of all is the absolute rudeness of the staff and ontop of that their vulgarity. There was a girl in our group and all of the men working there just kept on staring at her and made her very uncomfortable.
Avoid this place like the plague!
Edit: he next day we all got food poisoning our stomachs (including an infant) are in so much pain from...
Read moreI went to Dublin with my daughter who got admission in BA Hons and given accommodation in Griffith Halls of Residence which is very close to BBQ Tonight. We went in and asked for waiting time if BBBQ is ordered. We were told approx. 30 minutes. We asked for alternate and ordered Daal Fry and Vegetables. We were told vegetables are not available and instead Paalik Paneer can be served. The Daal was very spicy and instead of Yellow lintel as printed in Menu was Channa Daal. Naan served were merely Roties made of Maida though Rotes were of good quality. After few days i went alone and seated in family hall. I was asked to shift to other hall which was disrespect but since i was feeling hungry and there was no know option of Hallal food for me, so I have to bear. I ordered Mix vegetables and what was served after 20 minutes was literally eatable. When i asked did you used frozen vegetables for cooking the answer was yes. I asked to bring Daal and same Channa dall came without frying. I eat one chappati and paid money and left. When we dine out we pay for taste and something different and if served items are tasteless then you don't get what you paid for. Similarly if your family hall is booked for a private party display a card and dont remove seated guests. Try improve your taste and also correct your menue. If it is channa Daal it has to be mentioned like that. Similarly a Nann is not just a roti made by Maida. Naan has different specification which are required to be...
Read moreMy first time here was when we held a family and friends get together after our Nikah at the Dublin mosque. It was hectic and we just had food to get by with the day 😅 But guests all were saying food was good, portion was huge and mango lassi being the highlight of the day.
October 2025 would be our second time here then, only get to properly taste and indulge in their food 🥰
Fully halal restaurant alhamdulillah
Lamb briyani was super duper good masyaAllah. The lamb was soft and juicy, briyani rice was full of flavour i would def definitely repeat this.
Butter naan was not what i expected. Its a bit hard to pull and not soft (not sure if this is how naan supposed to taste. ive tasted naan back in Malaysia, they were super soft 😅).
Hot curry was the authentic style, nothing like back in Malaysia so if you like the authentic one, this is for you. The chicken in the hot curry was a tadbit difficult to chew down too. not so soft. perhaps i shouldve ordered lamb curry for something soft 🤍
Mango lassi is everything!! very good.
Overall, price, food and company was very good. Easily the best lamb briyani in Ireland 😆
Also, If you dont like to get the smell from cooking (they do open kitchen style cooking), should opt to sit at the second...
